Jackie Robinson walks away from Ebbets Field after playing his first MLB game, 1947
Big Tommy Pham has been picked at 1st base twice in two weeks during clutch moments...don’t bother for the rest of the season because he won’t be caught sleeping again.
#MikeFiers just pitched a 131 pitch #nohitter! Congratulations on your second no-no Mike! #oaklandAs #Cincinnati #REDS
So far, 1IP 1R, 2H, 2K #positionplayerpitching
Nothing but respect @AROD I’m sure you homered there many times, but exactly how many triples did you leg out at Coors field? Lol
@AROD talking on the ESPN about the last time he played in Coors.... it was 2007 and he got a bloody nose. I remember because I was at the game and the Rockies swept the Yankees

If you can’t get excited about this 2019 stlouis cardinals baseball team... then we can’t be friends
When someone asks about my favorite team, I reply, “I just like to watch good baseball”.....I honestly don’t prefer one game, age, or league to another. I’m a fan of the game.

Funny (but serious) story about quality catch: During each #SpringTraining with the @Twins our AAA pitching coach Bobby Cuellar would walk around the low minors teams and call out pitchers that would never make the Big Leagues because they couldn’t pepper their partner’s chest.
Playing catch is, without question, the most important fundamental skill of the game. Pitching and defense are both simple extensions of playing catch. Teams who play catch the best are the teams who win. If you can’t play catch, you can’t play. #STdrills

100 or so free agents left unsigned. System is broken. They blame “rebuilding” but that’s BS. You’re telling me you couldn’t sign Bryce or Manny for 10 years and go from there? Seems like a good place to start a rebuild to me. 26-36 is a great performance window too.
I like the post, good info, but did you miss the offense offered by Alfaro as compared to Realmuto? ...Particularly at their respective times of service? I think @_JorgeAlfaro11 was a greater part of that trade than you recognized in this post. Thoughts? #Phillies #Marlins
Did the #Phillies end up winning the J.T. Realmuto trade with the #Marlins? (via @dyljsmith98) calltothepen.com/2019/02/08/…

Welcome back Chris @thenatural515
Meet new #Rangers lefty Chris Nunn @thenatural515
He can throw gas and is set to open the year at AAA Nashville. Nunn had a 1.80 ERA and a 23-to-8 K/BB ratio in 20 innings with the #Astros AA-affiliate. Very intriguing signing to say the least.
