This was published in an American newspaper on Feb 9, 1916. That’s 110 years ago today. “No Greeks need apply.” Seems like America’s xenophobia has never really changed, except for which group of people we’re supposed to be afraid of.
Anyway, Bad Bunny was great last night.

Although polls remain open until 9 PM ET, the NYC Board of Elections has likely released its final turnout update. Since this morning, the share of votes coming from from Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island has increased, while Brooklyn and Manhattan have seen slight declines.
Tuesday night, New York City holds its Democratic primary for mayor. After incumbent Mayor Eric Adams dropped out of the Democratic primary in April to run as an independent following his federal bribery indictment, the race has effectively narrowed to a two-person showdown between vastly different candidates: former Governor Andrew Cuomo and Queens Assembly Member Zohran Mamdani.
Other notable candidates are:
Brad Lander – NYC Comptroller
Adrienne Adams – NYC Council Speaker
Zellnor Myrie – SD-20 State Senator
Michael Blake – Former Assembly Member
Whitney Tilson – Hedge Fund Manager
