The Traveller Movement in collaboration with Race On The Agenda, Peoples Health Trust, Runnymede and Race Equality Foundation have opened a campaign for an open letter to Baroness Merron that seeks targeted amendments to the Health Bill.
These amendments seek to 'improve the quality of evidence available to decision-makers, strengthen accountability for reducing inequalities, make healthcare more accessible for people facing barriers to engagement, and ensure that patient safety investigations better identify and respond to unequal outcomes.'
You can sign up to the letter as an individual or organisation at: c.org/hCr2JFqyyj

"I felt I had no-one to turn to, despite knowing many people. That people around me didn't have the time, or that I wasn't important enough."
Feeling lonely isn't always about being physically alone. Sometimes it's the belief that you're a burden, that support isn't meant for you, or that your struggles don't matter.
Our free online Social Isolation and Loneliness Training explores how loneliness can affect people differently and how small acts of empathy, connection and understanding can make a real difference.
No-one should feel they're not important enough.
