Please retweet to help find a rescue shelter space for Sid, stray/abandoned. URGENT, SID DIES ON 14th JANUARY IF A SPACE IN AN ESTABLISHED RESCUE IS NOT OFFERED BY EVENING OF 13/01🆘🆘🆘- CURRENTLY IN A COUNCIL POUND #LANCASHIRE #UK RESCUE SPACES NEEDED Sid. Staffy cross, approx 5yrs. Entire male. Chipped. 21.5”, 25kg. Friendly & sociable with a brilliant temperament. Can be bouncy when he first meets people but quickly calms down. Not bothered by other dogs & will walk past without incident. Does not chase cats but has not had a proper face to face introduction. Good with older children on initial tests. Very well house trained & also crate trained. No known health issues. (The warden has had him in her home over Xmas period hence why assessment is a bit more thorough than usual) Currently in a Lancashire kennels as an unclaimed stray. Please share far and wide and tag any suitable rescues (unfortunately I don’t have time to get in touch with rescues who are unknown to me, so if you tag bone fide rescues who I don’t already have contact with, they will see this and they will get in touch if they feel they can help). Please note that because this dog – like all our dogs – needs to be fully assessed before being placed as part of someone’s family, we will NOT respond to any comments, emails or messages from individuals offering to adopt this dog before the deadline shown above. The way that individuals can help this dog right now is to share this post as much as possible and/or tag suitable rescues in this thread. If you are member of the public looking to adopt a dog, please go to your local dog rescue and adopt a fully assessed dog who matches the home you have to offer. In turn, this will free up a space for a new pound dog to be saved. I am not the one putting these dogs to sleep. THE KENNELS ARE NOT TO BLAME, they are full. Blame the people who allow their dogs to stray and then never collect them - throwing them away like rubbish. Blame the breeders still pumping out puppies, when there are so many dogs dying. But don’t blame us! And please don’t blame us for doing our very best for both dogs and families by ONLY placing fully assessed dogs into private homes. Rescues can contact me to offer spaces via messenger or email; [email protected] Original post or contact on Facebook below👇 facebook.com/steph.taylor.10… Donations are welcome to help the dogs secure a rescue space; please send funds via PayPal to [email protected] or via bank; Pound Dog Saviours, Account number 51216763, Sort code 309950. Pledges will not be added to totals until paid as I can't risk promising funds to a rescue which do not come through sadly. Please state which dog your donation is given to as the reference. This is the ONLY fundraiser approved to fundraise for these dogs. Please do not send funds elsewhere. Please inform me if you see any rescue or any person fundraising for any of these dogs. I am happy for approved rescues to fundraise by prior agreement and I will update this post if alternative fundraising is approved. @The_Blue_Cross @RSPCA_official @AllDogsMatter @themayhew @HopeRescue @ScottishSPCA @APDAWG1 @JaneFallon @rickygervais @AlisonHammond @liamgallagher @DrBrianMay @ChrisGPackham @Nigel_Farage @DannyVet @RosieDuffield1 @SueHayman1 @DefraGovUK @GMB @NickDixonITV #dogs #dog #adoptdontshop #rescuedogs #England #Wales #Scotland #NorthernIreland #Bleakholt @LurcherSOS
