#OTD 10 years ago I witnessed my #1 tornado of all time near Chapman, KS. Documented this tornado for 90 minutes from start to finish across its 16 mile path with multiple close range intercepts and a singular tornado taking on about every shape and size possible. I’m not sure this tornado ever will ever be topped from its benchmark. I’ll remember this chase for the rest of my life.

Talk about most documented lol... Here's data from the Bolt Hunter @Healey_Photo was using at the time (in Night Mode). The brightest part of the return stroke lasted only 60 millionths of a second!
One of the most documented lightning bolts? I captured this in 4K at 120 fps from inside my car just north of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, on 4/26. The strike was so close I felt gravel hit my arm, and moments later I saw the road on fire.
Not long after, other storm chasers started reaching out about the bolt. I later got to see the same strike from the car behind me, captured by @300MphEF5, along with an incredible high-resolution photo from @Healey_Photo.
This was from the same storm that produced the twin tornadoes near Foraker just before.

"Qatar expects all Gulf energy producers to shut down exports within weeks and drive oil to $150 a barrel, the country's Energy Minister Saad al-Kaabi told the Financial Times in an interview published on Friday.
"Everybody that has not called for force majeure we expect will do so in the next few days that this continues. All exporters in the Gulf region will have to call force majeure," Kaabi told the FT." #OOTT
