We haven't received any donations for a week.
I’m not blaming anyone, and I’m not asking anyone to do something against their will, but honestly, this has been one of the hardest weeks for me.
My Twitter account has been restricted since Friday, and I’ve been very sick. On top of that, I received almost no donations throughout the entire week. The hardest part was watching the days go by while constantly worrying about how I would provide food for my children.
But what truly broke me wasn’t just the lack of donations. It was the feeling that the people I considered my support had suddenly become so distant. My friends who used to regularly quote and share my posts—this week, I saw only one quote, as if the Basheer you knew and supported had suddenly disappeared. 💔
I’m not asking for anything impossible, and I’m not asking you for money. Sometimes, simply quoting a post, saying a few words, or reminding people that there is a family waiting for help can make a much bigger difference than you realize.
Maybe to you, it’s just another post on Twitter. But to me, it could be the difference between being able to provide food for my children and standing helplessly in front of them.
I just wish I didn’t feel forgotten when my account stopped reaching people.
The hardest thing isn’t going through a crisis—it’s realizing that you’re facing it alone while the people you thought would never leave you have gone silent.
I just wish you had remembered Basheer a little this week. 💔

I don’t understand the point of advertising scholarships that list Palestine as an eligible country, making it seem that Palestinian students are genuinely welcome to apply, only to have some of them rejected at the visa stage after spending so much time, effort, and money preparing their applications.
