動物の社会的シグナルは、身体の吻側部に集中する傾向があるのではないか。この傾向を、感覚器官の頭部への集中を起点として進化の過程で繰り返し生じるパターンと捉え、それを検証するための、「顔」という人間中心的な概念にとらわれない、新たな研究プログラムとして提案しています！

Why do large dogs tend to live shorter lives than their smaller counterparts?
The answer may be written into their epigenome, according to a new study in Science. The findings reveal that larger and male dogs undergo accelerated molecular aging, with pronounced DNA methylation on the X chromosome and at transposable elements.
