My first year on Amazon done✅

This has been such a roller coaster of a year and I’m happy to have achieved an “impossible” goal I had set for myself earlier this year.
I gotta thank everyone in the community who’s helped me along the way. Without your support/guidance this wouldn’t have been possible.
I did all this with the help of @YouTube university, spamming a bunch of @fieldsofprofit @flips4miles @Jatznarann @sellercircle @theceocast
videos until I got tired of them.
Even with all those videos, the hardest part was just getting starting, This is where most people fail but if you just give yourself that one year of hard work and dedication, you’ll do it too!

But, seen some bad takes by people on this new Amazon reimbursement announcement so we'll throw some out

Warehouse damaged:
1. Go to your inventory ledger
2. Set your disposition to Warehouse_Damaged
3. Set date range to last 365
4. Generate report
5. Copy FNSKU
6. Paste FNSKU into your Reimbursement report
7. Cross reference dates to see if you have been reimbursed (Amazon should reimburse in 10 days)
8. Request reimbursement if Amazon has not done it
Lost:
1. Go to your inventory ledger and go to download
2. Set date range to last 365
3. Request CSV download
4. Sort column O by smallest to largest
5. Copy FNSKU
6. Paste FNSKU into your reimbursement report
7. Cross reference dates to see if you have been reimbursed
8. Request reimbursement if Amazon has not done it
Lost inbound:
1. Go to your shipping queue
2. Scroll down Units expected/Units located column
3. Look for closed shipments with discrepancies
4. Open shipment, go to contents tab, select checkbox show discrepancies only
5. On right select research units
6. Submit invoice showing purchases of all units sent to Amazon
7. State that invoices show proof of purchase and ownership of products sent and request reimbursement
8. If denied double down with invoice, tracking number, bank statement, and box vs product weight
This takes care of the bulk of your reimbursements and is very little work.
What it does not cover (worth using a reimbursement services or doing yourself but is a lot more work):
- FBA fee reimbursements due to incorrect weight and dims
- Lost inventory that Amazon hasn't marked as lost because they don't know it's lost.
- Customer fraud/ incorrect returns
If a reimbursement service is going to take 20%-40% of your reimbursement, make them work for it.

In discussion with @SellerAmp regarding the in-browser application's recent performance.
They need an indicator of how many people this is effecting.
If you have received either of the images attached, and notice an overwhelming lag on the application, please like/comment on this post and/or send an email to [email protected] telling them you're facing a lag issue on the "Offers" tab.
If this is something that worries you hmu currently doing bookkeeping/taxes/payroll for a couple other sellers.
It’s important understanding your business to the single dollar, that way you can properly run a healthy business.
if you wanna quit your job and do Amazon full-time, please make sure your numbers, your ACTUAL numbers, how much profit is hitting your bank account every month, is healthy.
so many sellers have good profits on sellerboard but that is only profit on items you sold.
what about all your bad buys you didn’t sell, lost/damaged inventory you haven’t been reimbursed for, etc.
you have to account for those and runs your numbers in something like quickbooks to get a PnL and balance sheet every month to make sure your business is healthy.
once you done that, and your average monthly profit is good enough for you (average because monthly will fluctuate on high/low spend months), then you can think about quitting your job.
if you don’t have any serious responsibilities tho, get an AMEX card and just go scale hard (only if you don’t make dumb purchases)
