Netlify shouting out our Yard #5 Champion. 🏆
@_waela built Grammareaper with Netlify's AI builder and became Hackyard's first back-to-back Champion.
Anyone can ship something real here. Yard #6 kicks off Monday!
Back-to-back Hackyard champion! Congrats, @_waela. A grammar checker that fixes your writing while a ghost takes over was a winner from the start.

New voting rules, starting with Yard #6.
The builders crown the Champion. The members pick Members' Choice. Nobody votes in both.

feels like @OpenAI is solving monumental things every other week.
Here's a direct link to OpenAI's PDF claiming a refutation of ETH. In particular, it's claimed that 3SAT on n variables is in about exp(n/(log n)^{1/2+o(1)}) time

added! you're live on show & tell with try it now. that pic is unreal btw
hackyard.tech/show
find it under "just for fun" or "try it now"
Thanks man! Yeah! It was fun - night tour of the grounds between-two-tombstones.verce…, there's a couple of samples if you want to try one but here's a bonus pic
All of them! Every build from every finished Yard is on Show & Tell, from Yard #1 to last week's crown. 93 so far...
You can filter by Games, Tools, Creative or Just for fun, or by Winners! If you only want builds you can use right now, there's a "Try it now" filter for that.

Some context on Show & Tell...
most hackathon projects die the day judging ends. People put a week into something real, it gets a few votes, and then nobody ever sees it again. I didn't want that to happen on Hackyard.
so I built a place where every build keeps getting found. I went back through all 93 builds from the first 5 Yards, gave each one a name, a type and a short pitch, and tracked down every live link I could so you can actually try them, not just read about them.
Where it's heading:
Yard #6 adds a Show & Tell intro to the submit form on builds. when you submit your build, you can pick how it previews in Show & Tell, with your own short intro clip. your build, shown the way you want it!
builders will also get their own analytics: how many people watched your build, hit "try it now", opened your code. that's private to you. the public page stays the same for everyone, with no likes and no counts, so every build gets the same stage!
This is the first version and I want to hear what you think. Find me on Hackyard as (hixon) & send me your feedback there!
Show & Tell is live on Hackyard.
Every build from every finished Yard, in one place, playing on autoplay. 93 builds and counting...
Games, tools, and the weird stuff. Filter by type, hit Surprise me, or just let it play. Find one you like and hit "Try it now" to use it.

Show & Tell going live on Hackyard.tech tonight at 8 PM EST.
Been building something new for Hackyard.tech this week. It’s called Show & Tell 📺
Every build ever shipped on Hackyard, playing on auto-shuffle. Each one shows its demo clip, and if it’s live you can hit "try it now" & use it right there.
No scrolling through lists. Just sit back and watch what people built, or filter by games, tools, winners.
It goes live in the Hackyard menu tab Monday, right after Yard #5 gets crowned, with all the Yard #5 builds in it 👻

Yard #6 theme is Offline.
@_waela picked it after winning back-to-back, then decided to sit this one out and give everyone else a shot. Respect!
So the Champion spot is wide open. Build something that works with zero internet. 40 spots, kicks off Nov 2.
Yard #6 is open. ✈️
The theme is Offline: build something that works with zero internet. Turn on airplane mode and it still does its job.

We caught it. Before the Yard #5 crown we checked every vote and voided 28 that came from throwaway accounts. Sign-ups from disposable emails are blocked now too.
Community vote stays the core, but we review every vote before anyone gets crowned!
@HackyardSocial Quick suggestion for Yard 6: Could we look into having internal Hackyard judges evaluate the submissions?
A few repos seemed to get votes without much traffic, so judge reviews might help make evaluation fairer for everyone.

Grammareaper just won Hackyard Yard #5, making it my second consecutive win!
You guys showed up for me again. Thank you to everyone who voted, shared my posts, and encouraged me.
Huge thanks to @HackyardSocial and Hixon for creating these opportunities, and to @Netlify for being part of another building adventure.
I'm so grateful!! 🏆
Back-to-back. @_waela won Yard #4 with Chore Wars and just took Yard #5 with Grammareaper. First time anyone has done that on Hackyard!
Thank you to all 25 builders who shipped something haunted this week. Truly incredible work. Yard #6 starts Nov 2, and she picks the theme from a select list.
Claim a spot in Yard #6 starting tomorrow at 18:00 UTC!
