2 YEARS AGO TODAY | Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed while fighting Israeli forces on the front lines. 🇵🇸
“He's with his people. The leader of the resistance is there on the front lines, a 60 year old man fighting with his people. Can any Western leader even try to convey a message that they have the same sort of courage? Netanyahu would never.”

Luka Doncic scored 23 PTS in the first half but Yaxel Lendeborg was the only Warrior to slow him down 😤

Yaxel Lendeborg on what he and Luka Doncic were going back and forth about:
“I was telling him he sucks. He can’t score on me. You talking, you can’t score on me. I said it the whole game. I said a couple cuss words obviously, you know, that’s why I got the technical and all that. But I was letting him know because he was laughing and talking all this because of that one foul call, and his only bucket was a banker from half court. Like, I know that it’s a team sport. He had 28 on us as a team. Me, I took my matchup personally. Tried not to get caught on the fouls. Tried my best. I was thinking about playing him with my hands behind my back to see if that worked. Probably would have still got a foul call. But, you know, interesting.”

Kevin Durant on how different the Houston Rockets are with Fred VanVleet and Marcus Smart: "Last year we started in our backcourt, Twin (Amen Thompson) and Josh Okogie. And a lot of time those guys are being left at the 3-point line. And their men are helping guard guys in the paint. So when we've got Fred and Marcus Smart out there who can keep the defense honest at the 3-point line and then Twin just roaming around just doing everything. Grabbing offensive rebounds, making assists, dunks, floaters, everything.
"That put everybody into a good position. That settle everybody into what they do best. You've seen how efficient Alpe (Sengun) was tonight. Bari (Smith Jr.). Everybody's just more efficient when they're just in their roles, doing what they do.
"Everybody had to play point guard by committee last year. And I think having a few natural point guards on our team, that's going to help everybody."

Draymond Green chimes in on Chris Finch’s biggest concern with Rudy Gobert:
“The onus is going to end up being on Rudy to figure out how to talk & deal with the younger guys, not the guys figuring out how to talk to him. that’s just a little backwards to me”
