Alarming. Should be anyway.
Everton have won two of their last 15 Premier League matches (D7 L6). Also failed to win any of their last nine Premier League away matches, with #EFC’s last last away win in the league coming in February against Newcastle.

As @register4Ronnie is isolating, his Christmas won’t be typical this year. Today we’re launching an appeal to make his Christmas more special. We’re asking those who can, to send Ronnie a little @Everton gift. Anything over & above will be donated to the Oncology Ward @AlderHey

Watching last night's @BBC 2 coverage of 1986 hits on iPlayer? If so, I know just the accompaniment. THE SLUM SPORT covers the 1985/86 football season. See how many of the hits you can spot among the chapter titles...

Bringing on Hackney opens you up to being less defensively solid ordinarily, but it was a chance to take some risks. We needed someone to break lines, carry forward, make third-man runs. Not someone to sit in front of the back four.

Very fortunate goal, but we've shown 0 threat in the second half.

Not the table to top, but confirms the balance is not right. If they are all fit - who plays in the midfield 3 and how should they line up?

Not been on here anywhere near as much as I’d hoped to with a tour to promote but been struck down with a crippling bout of health anxiety I think what started me feeling weird was my Aunty Christine passing away. She was one of my favourite people in the whole world. When I was a kid my parents worked a lot on shifts. My Nanan was old and frail and Grandma lived in Workington and so we spent a lot of time at Aunty Christine’s. She was more like a Nanan than an Aunty tbh. She was simply magic. Crazy tales about a fictional wolf called Walter. A naughty sense of fun. Always making costumes and letting us watch films that me mum said were too old for us. And then there is the music. Her and Uncle Terry loved all the old classics. Their house was the party house but they also loved the proper tunes. Elvis and especially Patsy Cline are always going to be synonymous with their red brick house on the Springvale estate at Upperthorpe. Later when me and me Dad used to clash and I’d leave home in a temper every other weekend , it’d be Aunty Christine’s that would be my sanctuary. She’d send me off to the Scarborough Arms with Uncle Terry to sink a gallon of Wards before sending me home again. But most of all it’s the love of football that she gifted us. Our dad wasn’t that arsed about footy. It was Aunty Christine who lived it deeply. She’d have played too if she’d have been a young un now. She was the lionesses biggest fan. For me a little light from my childhood has gone out and so I don’t think it’s a coincidence I feel a bit off balance right now Sleep tight Aunty Chris. Absolutely adored you ❤️

Thanks! Hopefully a film festival screening in Liverpool in January too.
The Everton FC documentary film (November 2019) Everton-Howard's Way tells the definitive story of Everton FC at the very peak of their powers in the mid-1980s. Source @HowardsWayFilm
