We are creating chances. Once they start to go in, it's all good.
After 5 games you cant judge him. Brentford have lost two games since Feb. Utd and City both away. They are not a bad side.
I think some of us - even me - got kidded that a new manager and some good signings could fix everything quickly.
It clearly couldn't. Even if we'd signed a midfielder there's still some bad habits, low confidence are still there under the surface. Can't fix those overnight.
They took the lead, our heads went down and we lost all our threat.
What we do have now though, is real experience and proper leaders with proper mentalities to get us through this, which we didn't have before. Henderson, Welbeck, Lacroix, Martinez.
This job is probably as big as the one Arteta had at Arsenal. I don't think it will take as long as it did there, but it will take time.
Xabi is an elite manager. Not saying he doesn't deserve criticism, but if fans are impatient and force him out, we'll lose our last chance to get back to the top for a long time.

🚨 PATRICE EVRA: “CHELSEA MUST APPEAL — THE FAVOURITISM TOWARDS ARSENAL IS GETTING OUT OF HAND”
🗣️“Chelsea need to seriously consider filing an appeal with the Premier League because this is getting out of hand.
How can a player be fouled, Arsenal continue the attack, score a goal, and the goal still stands? What are we watching?
The level of favouritism towards Arsenal is becoming impossible to ignore. Every week there is another decision that goes their way, and then we are expected to believe it is all just coincidence.
This is no longer about one referee making a mistake. Chelsea have every right to question whether they are being treated fairly.
It is a total disgrace. PGMOL cannot keep asking everyone to accept this.”

🚨🎙️ Roy Keane on Chris Kavanagh’s Officiating in Arsenal vs Chelsea:
🗣️"I’m looking at this match at the Emirates, and we’re only three games into the season—three weeks in!—and already we’re sitting in studio talking about major officiating questions. It’s standard that shouldn't be accepted. It’s far too early in the campaign to be seeing this level of inconsistency, and it’s becoming an absolute pattern.
"Look at the key moments. You’ve got the VAR chalking off Riccardo Calafiori’s goal early on because Ezri Konsa was supposedly offside in the build-up. Fine, by the strict letter of the law, maybe it is. But then you watch the physical battles—Gabriel throwing his weight around in the six-yard box, João Pedro getting booked early, fouls being called one minute and ignored the next when Cole Palmer or Morgan Rogers are driving forward. There's no rhythm, no common sense to how these games are being managed. Chris Kavanagh and his team let the game get chaotic, and then tried to reel it back in by throwing out yellow cards left, right, and center late on.
"People like to pretend the title race is won in April or May. It isn't. The winners of this league are determined from Matchday 1. Every single point counts. When you have two top teams going toe-to-toe, a massive chunk of that outcome falls squarely in the hands of the match officials. If they can’t get the basics right now, what hope do we have come September, let alone spring? It’s simply not good enough."

this was penalty when it was Cucurella vs Haaland
I don’t understand this referee. Joao Pedro has two hands on him, and no call. But he slightly touches the defender, gets a call.

- the goalkeeper has the ball under control
Law 12: “A goalkeeper cannot be challenged by an opponent when in control of the ball with their hand(s)/arm(s)”
- the goalkeeper gets kicked in the head
Why was this not a red card for Gabriel?
