The most interesting item on this list may be the one at the very bottom: break up meat packing oligopolies. A Schumer bill on an Abdul El-Sayed signature issue of monopolies & oligopolies. The price of meat is too damn high!
Here are 18 policies to make life more affordable where Dems already have proposals in the House or the Senate. And they *DON'T COST A DIME!* 1. End the war in Iran – lower gas price! Congressional appropriations cutoff – Chuck Schumer and Ro Khanna (2026)

You really have to read this savage takedown of Vivek Ramaswamy from... *checks notes*... *Ron Fu¢king DeSantis!* I'm assuming this is revenge for getting rejected by the party, but can't rule out some kind of Trumpian “Look at me! I'll say anything!” cr@p.
Governor DeSantis goes off on Vivek Ramaswamy AGAIN. Says Vivek had no business being on the debate stage in the 2024 GOP primary and there needs to be a better vetting process. “Vivek showed up and he's debating on the stage. Why is he on the stage? What did he do to be on that stage? Like, nothing. Obviously, his business was this Alzheimer's drug that didn't work. He bought it. It failed two clinical trials. His mom, I guess as a doctor, she said, oh, I'm going to do a phase three study. He goes out and pumps it. Stock goes up. I mean, NO ONE got better off this. And I'm just thinking, like, okay. And then he was out there doing all this stuff and he shows up. And it's like, okay, like, fine, but where's your leadership? What have you done to be able to do it? We've got to make sure we do a better job of vetting some of this stuff. If you just tell them what they want to hear. Just say the most outlandish things and somehow you're going to get support? That is not the way it is. When you're electing a leader and a president, you're electing the leader of the free world. There should come with a little bit of weightiness to that. There should be a certain amount of gravitas that's brought to that. But you can just get on media, say the right things. It doesn't matter if you can do it. It doesn't matter if you have a track record. You can get some traction doing that. That, I don't think, is a good part of the process at all.”

We certainly live in a hellscape, but at least it's an occasionally entertaining hellscape.
Apparently “Dana W. White” who ran public affairs for Sec Def was recommended on a short list for Trump to put as Press Secretary. Trump has instead announced “Dana White” of the UFC as Press Secretary with our Dana having any idea. JFC!

This tweet has been shared by an account with 1.4 million followers & is spreading the most nonsensical election fraud claim you can possibly imagine. If you vote on community notes, take a look or share with those who do.
THE 15% BAND Look at this chart. 59 races. Senate and governor. States ordered from reddest to bluest in 2024. The solid lines are 2024. The dashed lines are 2026. The shaded bands are what moved. One formula fits all of it: Republican 2026 = 0.85 × Trump 2024 Democrat 2026 = Harris 2024 + 0.15 × Trump 2024 For every 1,000 Trump points, 850 stayed Republican. 150 landed on the Democratic side. The numbers: Senate: Republicans kept ~85% of Trump’s share Governor: ~86% Variation explained: 88% What makes it strange: It didn’t matter how red the state was. Wyoming, Ohio, Illinois, Massachusetts: same 15% (p = 0.69). The Democratic gain was sized by Trump’s vote, not Harris’s. The Harris part is zero. The 0.85 beat both standard election-swing models in every set of races. Drop any single state and the multiplier stays between 0.846 and 0.853. Why seats flipped: At 0.85, any state where Trump got under about 58.5% falls below 50%. Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina: all under that line. All flipped. What this means: Midterms are messy. This one isn’t. Two sets of races, different candidates, different campaigns, and the same 15% decrease almost everywhere. A pattern this even demands answers at the ballot level: paper ballot hand counts, poll-book check-ins against votes counted, and voter files showing who actually turned out. The numbers raise the question. The ballots can answer it.

HOLY SH*T 🚨 The post below goes over the Midterms election results and shows it was algorithmically rigged, I put it into artificial intelligence AND AI CONFIRMS IT’S CORRECT. THE FRAUD ALGO AND ELECTION RESULTS PERFECTLY MATCH “We cracked their cheating algorithm. 85/15 algorithm....for every 1000 Trump votes (most likely during early voting when Dems front loaded everything) 150 switched to Dems. It's the same pattern in every state that went blue” Check the AI screenshot. It confirms the math is correct to the results that came in

How did I not see this ;til now? Lol. “Democrats you, didn't win because America wants you to meet 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 & 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 halfway. Forget bipartisanship. This is a time for courage, not compromise...” “𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝘂¢𝗸 𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝗽.”
The fight isn't nearly over, Democrats. Don't flinch now.

Go rate to the community note of your choice.. Lol. This level of wrongheadedness is exhausting.
Clinton lost 54 seats in the 1994 midterm election. Obama lost 63 seats in the 2010 midterm election. Trump just lost 41 seats in the 2026 midterm election. It’s not exactly the historic event you believe it to be.

4 days from the Great Sigh of Relief & Dems are already fu¢king it up. Mods are unlearning the central lesson - that tapping into that sense that the rules are rigged against regular folks won Dems a landslide, just like it did Trump. But progressives have missed a lesson, too.

It's a matter of messaging, but messages get tossed, allies deviate. So, you agree on *an agenda* & a message *tied to it* – inextricably linked. Then your leader gets a spot in leadership to police the pact. Plenty of places to start: xitter.gq/IanRGillespie/status/2…

Then move to big ticket items – which aren't any bigger, but cost $$. You haggle. Shi† gets forgotten. Follow up is lacking. But none of that matters. Cuz while arguing over your latest win, you've cemented the idea that the path to victory is delivering for everyday people.

Important folks know the backstory of this ad. My twin brother, Andrew Robert Colom, @andrewcolom, wrote, directed, and produced this ad, and starred alongside me in it. (He's not AI). 😂 Kayland Partee (@KaylandPartee) did the cinematographer and helped with a lot of my great content. These 2 are another example of the awesome talent from and in the Sip!
Sinators. Happy Halloween! (this is a joke!)

Is anyone going to talk about the fact that a sitting Republican Governor has gone full Haley Stevens, gloatposting about his Republicans bros getting their asses handed to them? And Republicans don't even have the blood lust left to gut him like a trout?
If Mississippi goes down, that will give Dems 56 Senate seats.

Replying to @johniadarola
@johniadarola @DavidShuster One thing you guys are missing on the NPVIC: It would not have only affected 2 elections in the last 30 years. Dem campaign travel, ad spending & policies, are all constrained by having to remain competitive in the Electoral College.

On election night you see the tail end of a long funnel. Imagine how it impacts voting Dems craft an agenda & strategy around NYC, LA, Chicago, Boston, SF, Atlanta, Detroit, Philly, Seattle, DC & Baltimore, not Pennsylvania, Georgia, NC, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin & Nevada.
