BREAKING: Anthropic warns in its IPO filing that a catastrophic AI-related incident could cause harm on a scale that no single insurer, and āpotentially the insurance industry in the aggregate,ā could cover.
The filing says Anthropicās insurance may not be enough to cover the liabilities it faces, especially if one incident or a group of incidents causes disproportionate harm.

No matter what wild claims you may hear from Donald Trump and his allies about our elections ā remember that itās all noise. Heās trying to stoke chaos and sow confusion to get the results that he wants.
I want every eligible voter in Pennsylvania to know: you can vote safely and securely in next weekās election ā whether you choose to vote in person or by mail.

BIG WIN for America!
But letās be clear: Trump is still working to undermine our democracy.
Our elections belong to the US, the American people. Not Donald Trump. And California isnāt backing down.

Note that the new charges against Comey are brought in an information, not an indictment, which means DOJ bypassed the grand jury. The Constitution requires charging via grand jury unless the defendant consents to an information, which does not seem to have happened here.
Pat Fitzgerald, Comey's lawyer "This most recent case involves an October 5, 2016 New York Times article that two different teams of prosecutors investigated during the first Trump administration. Both times the Government determined that no charges should be brought against anyone. Now, ten years after the article was published, the Government filed an 'Information' against Mr. Comey that was not approved by a judge nor issued by a grand jury. It purports to charge Mr. Comey with crimes that he did not commit."

OrbƔn gone. The Bolsonaros gone. Vucic gone. Netanyahu so desperate to avoid facing the criminal courts of his country if he loses the upcoming election that he's trying to incite a nuclear war.
Americans can do their part to stem the toxic tide of global fascism on November 3.
BREAKING: Putin just lost another ally in Europe, and people are celebrating in the streets. Aleksandar Vucic, Serbiaās authoritarian leader and close ally of Trump and Putin, has officially conceded defeat in a historic snap parliamentary election. The student-led opposition movement has won, ending more than a decade of Vucicās grip on power. Voter turnout reached nearly 70%, the highest since the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1992.

The confusion is defined as Sen. Sullivan not winning."
BRENNAN: The DOJ lawsuit demands the Alaska result not be certified if voters are confused. The confusion is defined as Sen. Sullivan not winning.
BLANCHE: That's not what it says
BRENNAN: I'm quoting from it. You are telling them not to certify it. What right does the federal government have telling a state not to certify?

In 2020, when Bill Barr was Attorney General, he crossed a lot of ethical lines, but still refused to use DOJ to overturn the election.
Not so with Todd Blanche. He is more than willing to interfere in Alaskaās election ā or any other ā if it will serve his master.
The best remedy for voters: make sure to turn out in such numbers that the result is not even close.

There is no legal authority for DOJ to do this. Itās a made up legal theory that will be rejected; which suggests a plan to gin up a narrative about the courts being the cause of Trumpās losses.
Yesterday, Todd Blanche wouldn't rule out DOJ suing to block state election certifications, citing a potential "doomsday scenario."
Today, DOJ sued Alaska, saying they should "not certify any election result that may be impacted by voter confusion."
