In 2008 a Zimbabwean man handed over 100 billion dollars for a single beer.
The country was then going through one of the worst hyperinflation episodes in modern times, with its currency losing value at a staggering pace.
By July 2008 a beer was said to cost 100 billion Zimbabwean dollars, and the price could jump to 150 billion within an hour.
Things got so bad that Zimbabwe issued a 100-billion-dollar banknote, yet even that sum was not enough for some everyday costs.
Propaganda &false information is reason why countries end up putting patriotic bills & criminalise decampaing the country.
False information damages ur country on international stage & investment also shy away.
Some South Africans have so much hatred towards other Africans even if those Africans are in their countries trying to make it a better nation, eradicate poverty & chances of migration of poor pple. That time the rich South Africa you brag about it rich because of white people 😒
there is no mainstream visa that accommodates less financially sound pple.
Bcoz of this, humans have figured out that the only way to be legal is seeking asylum ir marry someone.
Majority of migrants in the world are economic migrants who have no resources for mainstream visa.
