It is reported that I am suspected of high treason. The materials on which this suspicion is based are my public statements in Western media and on social media—specifically those concerning revelations of corruption of Zelenskyy's inner circle, the absence of freedom of speech, and political persecution. In effect, with this suspicion, Zelenskyy has proven that I was right.
If there had been any collaboration with the Russians, that is exactly what they would have written... There is none. Instead, they state that in my interviews and on social media, I made remarks that the Russians subsequently "used for propaganda." Therefore, this is a matter of freedom of speech, not collaboration with the Russians. The allegations center on my interview with Tucker Carlson @TuckerCarlson , as well as statements I made on X and Facebook.
Under martial law, treason charges mean from 15 years in prison to life sentence. This is the price of freedom of speech and desire to save Ukraine under Zelenskyy.

The Kyiv authorities have announced that former Zelenskyy’s press secretary, Mendel, is suspected of high treason. This is the wrong approach. They should turn to Spain’s Guardia Civil, and they will uncover the laundering of proceeds obtained through criminal activity.

He definitely was not tortured, and if he was, well, torture is good because it's Ukraine doing it, and secret torture sites are pro-EU and pro-Western values. We have to torture because people might say they like something Russian.

FWIW I do think this is a "media op" in the sense that *everyone* knows Azov-SBU black site torture dungeons have been a constant and completely routine practice for the last 12 years so the very sudden attention is, indeed, unusual. Probably domestic Ukrainian politics.
One of the first things Azov ever did was occupy Mariupol, murder civilians and set up a torture prison. That was back in 2014, over twelve years ago. By 2022 they had several black sites all over eastern Ukraine where they tortured "separatists" accused of being pro-Russian (and also for "regular" criminal purposes like extortion). Why is anyone surprised. Well, the last few years they're allowed to kidnap and torture everyone else, too, I guess.

This is a police officer photographed during yesterday’s events outside a secret Azov facility in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, near Kyiv, where beaten men were reportedly discovered and protests erupted.
He has become a symbol of how ordinary Ukrainians increasingly see the police: as an institution serving the interests of Zelensky’s corrupt regime and enforcing its machinery of forced mobilization.
Police officers appear in almost every video of the notorious busification raids — Ukraine’s brutal practice of snatching men off the streets and dragging them into military vans.
They twist men’s arms behind their backs. They carry them by their hands and feet and throw them into vans like sacks of human cargo.
They hunt down soldiers who have gone AWOL and hold them in places like this shadowy facility in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka.
They lie to protesters and journalists about the whereabouts of detained men. They obstruct medical personnel attempting to provide them with the care to which they are legally entitled.
They fail to protect jour"vigilantes" — thugs who attack civilians in the name of defending Azov’s supposedly spotless reputation.
This is the hideous face of Zelensky’s regime: a regime that, in its insatiable hunger for ever more power, is steadily devouring what remains of its own people's trust.
The more power it grabs, the more legitimacy it loses.

A SECRET PRISON NEAR KYIV? ALLEGATIONS OF TORTURE, BEATINGS, AND EXTORTION
An unofficial detention facility has reportedly been uncovered in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, near Kyiv, operated by Ukraine’s National Guard to hold men who had gone AWOL from military service.
According to reports, the men were beaten and tortured. Some accounts suggest that their families were pressured to pay bribes to secure their release. Some of the detainees had allegedly been held there for weeks.
Protesters gathered outside the building, demanding justice and the release of the detained men.
Ambulances arrived at the scene. In a shocking moment, a female paramedic fell to her knees, begging police officers to let her reach the men inside, some of whom were in critical condition and desperately needed medical attention.
Eventually, under mounting public pressure, the detained men began to be released.
One reportedly had a broken rib. Others emerged with visible signs of beatings on their faces.
Why are the Ukrainian authorities allegedly operating secret prisons to detain men?
Who will be held accountable for the violence, torture, and flagrant violations of human rights?
Will the police chief resign?
And perhaps the most disturbing question of all:
Why is President Zelensky remaining silent?
Who will protect Ukrainian citizens from abuse at the hands of those entrusted with protecting them?

🇺🇦 A female doctor who was first on the scene at the house with the secret Azov prison near Kiev has been added to Ukraine's Mirotvorets kill list.
The site claims that Valentina Molodaya is a "professional provocateur," accusing her of "participating in Russian information special operations against Ukraine" and "obstructing the lawful activities of the Defense Forces of Ukraine."
Ukrainian propagandists are now engaged in a character assassination campaign against Molodaya for exposing the torture prison. They have seized on her ties to a plastic surgery clinic, reports that the clinic she said she heads closed in 2023, and her past calls for people to gather on Kiev's Maidan and demand an end to the war. She has been branded a "fake nurse" and accused of working for Russian intelligence, with calls for Ukraine's security service to go after her and the other protesters.
