You can say this reaction is dramatic but I’ve been checking my phone and being on here or elsewhere much less lately because of this. I’m so sick of being surrounded by AI. I’m sick of it being every other video, thumbnails for everything, in every ad. It’s miserable.

Eric Bauza posted this the day the Skydance merger closed. It seemed to be his subtle way of reminding us that no matter whose name is on the logo, the creative legacy of Warner Bros. will not die.
It’s thanks to people like him that it hasn’t.

almost all of my students were talking about wildwood today - only a handful had already seen it, but the rest were saying they want to after hearing more about it - and i’m hoping against hope it’s gonna be a slow burn word-of-mouth success story

Eric Bauza was a unique voice talent who brought joy and laughter to millions around the world. During his 15 years at Warner Bros. Animation, he was the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck among countless other characters. He followed in the footsteps of giants like Mel Blanc. Eric said that carrying on the legendary legacy of the Looney Tunes was among the greatest honors of his life. In addition to his incredible talent, Eric was a treasured part of our animation family. Our hearts go out to his loved ones.

He fought so goddamn hard for this movie. I’m glad he got to see it before he went.

"We want GOOD original movies"
Wildwood is one of the best animated films of the decade
"There wasn't any marketing"
Had more views than doomsday

Marisa Tomei absolutely OWNS MY COUSIN VINNY (1992). Mona Lisa Vito walks into that courtroom and outsmarts seasoned lawyers with nothing but her encyclopedic knowledge of cars and an Oscar-worthy attitude.
What are the greatest “you have absolutely no idea who you’re messing with” scenes in movie history?
When some arrogant punk picks a fight with the wrong person and realizes far too late that they’re completely out of their depth.
The bar fight in JACK REACHER and the biker bar scene in TERMINATOR 2 are perfect examples.
What other scenes belong on this list?

GALAXY QUEST (1999) turns washed-up sci-fi actors into humanity’s last hope when aliens mistake their old TV show for real history. Somehow, this STAR TREK parody became a genuinely brilliant space adventure and a love letter to fandom. xitter.gq/Crockett1120/status/18…
What movie had absolutely no right being as good as it was?
A film that could’ve easily been a lazy cash grab built around an existing IP, but somehow turned out genuinely brilliant. THE LEGO MOVIE and DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOR AMONG THIEVES are perfect examples.
What movie went in with rock-bottom expectations and completely blew you away?

US film critic @nathaniel_ahart reviews the animated documentary #58th 🇵🇭
“Carl Joseph Papa is one of the most interesting filmmakers out there in the game. And Glaiza De Castro plays [Reynafe] Castillo brilliantly - this is a tremendous performance.”

#ForgottenIsland is DreamWorks at their most imaginative. It's a frenetic sugar rush, but it's also a very funny and moving story about the power of friendship and memories, made more special by its loving celebration of Filipino culture. One of the best animated films this year.

"It was so important" to not use "a Thatcher imitator".
The word you're looking for is "actor". You just didn't want to pay another actor.
Danny Boyle says he used AI to replace an actor’s face with Margaret Thatcher’s in “Ink” because he didn’t want to “use a Thatcher imitator.”
“It was very important to use that we didn’t use a Thatcher imitator,” he said, acknowledging that Thatcher and The Sun editor Lamb’s relationship was well documented. “She used to visit Larry Lamb’s office late at night after the edition had gone out, and they drank whisky together. She’d take her shoes off, curled up on the sofa.”
He also admitted that his didn’t ask the Thatcher state beforehand: “I declined the ask the estate for permission to do that. I don’t think the estate of people like Margaret Thatcher should have control over our ability to insist on ideas in art about what her influence was on our lives. So that was really important.”
