This is some of the worst fielding I have ever seen in one game. #YesPlayPro20Cup #SSCricket #CricketTwitter

By far the best coach we've had
And two of Shukri Conrad's losses were with a C team in New Zealand (how many of those players have played for the Proteas again?)

Yes boys!!
Simon Harmer has broken into the top 10 of the ICC Men's Test bowling rankings for the first time in his career after his 10-wicket haul against Australia in Cape Town 🇿🇦 #Cricket #SAvAUS

According to the cricket experts on Talksport......England wanted Simon Harmer to play for them after he qualified to do so. Harmer said no. Playing sport for England is like choosing a life of crime. Harmer is a man of dignity, ethics, integrity, morals and family values 👏🏻

Yet Indian players received nothing for their clear dissent to the umpires against Japan. More clear ICC favoritism.

100% agree with this
Personally would have gone Jordan Hermann. As it is the more likely longer-term option to have a natural opener to bring balance to Markram's tempo & get Ackerman to 3.

If I remember correctly the first he had a go he was replacing Amla after his retirement? And those are some big shoes to fill. Hamza's gained lots of experience since then and is more than capable of increasing his current average significantly. So glad he's got another chance!
Massive series coming up for Hamza against Bangladesh if he gets an opportunity. He needs to make it count this time around. He's a much better player than his test average of 19 suggests. It also helps that he's been in excellent form across all formats. #CricketTwitter

Show the win percentage, I wanna see something
Temba Bavuma moves into the top five for most Test wins as captain in the WTC. 🇿🇦 #TembaBavuma #WTC2026 #SouthAfrica

Great squad and spoilt for choices, I can see 2 potential starting XI's, both equally threatening
South Africa 🇿🇦 have named a 15-man squad for their Test series against Bangladesh 🇧🇩 IN: Tony de Zorzi, Zubayr Hamza, Anrich Nortje OUT: Senuran Muthusamy, David Bedingham, Tristan Stubbs, Kyle Verreynne, Gerald Coetzee

Nice to see Hamza back in the side! 🔥👏🏾 Feel like it may be a bit harsh on Bedders though but one can understand, he'll definitely be back. What does your starting XI look like?
Squad Announcement 🚨 The South Africa Men’s selection panel has today named a 15-player squad to face Bangladesh in the two-match Dafabet Test series later this month. The first Dafabet Test will take place at the DP World Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg from 15 - 19 November, followed by the second Dafabet Test at SuperSport Park in Centurion from 23 - 27 November. Tony de Zorzi returns after recovering from the hamstring injury that ruled him out of the Test series against Australia, while batter Zubayr Hamza has also been included in the squad. On the bowling front, Anrich Nortje returns to the squad after being sidelined for two weeks with a groin injury. Fast bowler Lungi Ngidi was not considered for selection as he continues his rehabilitation. #Unbreakable #SAvBAN

Simon Harmer, with his match figures of 58.1-20-120-10, is the first South African spinner to take a Men's Test match 10fer in South Africa since Hugh Tayfield against England at Johannesburg in 1957, and the first ever Proteas spinner to take a Test 10fer in Cape Town. #SAvAUS

Simon Harmer (6-16) became the first spinner to take six wickets for under 20 runs in a men’s Test innings outside Asia since Derek Underwood claimed 6-12 in Christchurch in 1970/71.

Honestly I think it was just some good back and forth banter between the crowd and the players, I thought it was fun and light hearted. But I understand the point of professionalism tbf
Very disappointing. i imagine the crowd was really giving it to them but as a professional cricketer i think you need to do a bit better.
