I am so sick of the media's approach to the mental health report out today. My brother was diagnosed with dyslexia aged 30 & with support got a degree after leaving school with nothing. He was diagnosed with ADHD aged 55. If he'd had support at school what could he have achieved

My friend nearly died giving birth at Kings College Hospital during a traumatic birth a few days ago. Labour for 30 hours, lost over 4 litres of blood. Her baby’s face left cut and badly swollen (still not sure if his vision in one eye has been permanently damaged). She was cut open and has been distraught. She said she had been in agony but it was dismissed with one staff member saying ‘it can’t be that bad’. I can’t tell you how angry I am at how her and her family were treated.

New government research has exposed misleading calls by leading Conservative and Reform UK figures who have repeatedly claimed that assessments carried out remotely are more likely to lead to a successful claim for disability benefits. disabilitynewsservice.com/go…

. @alexhornbyrail Cc @railandroad Thankfully you weren’t seriously injured having to leap out of your chair on a moving train to pull alarm Did @northernassist at Leeds tell them you were on? Did guard walk through the carriage and appears to ignore wheelchair space alarm?
Failed Assistance - @northernassist, having put me on the train at Leeds, failed to get me off at my destination Harrogate, Then ignored the wheelchair space emergency alarm. The train was departing and I had to stand up and pull the red emergency alarm to get off.

While Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is not, and shouldn't be, linked to work, our research shows that it plays a vital role in keeping many Disabled people in their jobs. Read the report, available in summary, Easy Read and BSL: buff.ly/78FhrEY

Reform says **2.89 million people** could have disability payments removed or changed under its welfare plans. If you vote Reform, do not assume this only affects “someone else”. These are parents, partners, children, neighbours and workers. PIP is not an unemployment benefit, and many people receiving it are in work. When politicians say only the “severe and enduring” should keep cash support, the question is simple: **Who decides whether your disability is severe enough?** Voting for cuts does not guarantee the cuts will only ever land on somebody else. #ReformUK #PIP #DisabilityBenefits #DisabledPeople #DWP

Some residents on Broadwater Farm have been issued HIGH energy bills from the @haringeycouncil owned Heat Network… Hear what’s happening so far and what I’m asking the council to do to protect + fully assist residents ⬇️ (Literally writing the plan for them + still … 😏)
