Exactly. Doctors are working class. They have to work for their money, unlike billionaires
When I say "eat the rich," I don't mean the surgeon with 700K in his bank account who had sleepless nights and worked hard for it. I mean the billionaires who earn 10K a minute even while they're asleep.

Unfortunately in healthcare, the word "innovation" has become associated with technology. And the word "technology" itself has become associated with technology of a particular kind in popular imagination - something to do with digital, computers, etc. If I say...1/n

The funniest bit is that temple is actually getting so much critical feedback from doctors for free. Only if they had the humility to absorb the feedback, they might actually make something useful. Hideous..but useful.

There are many sciences. This is an India only thing because we are very high on science illiteracy and poor in critical thinking. 🌤️Standard science - Universal. The one that really helps humanity progress. 🔴Bro science - Jitendra Chouksey, Luke Coutinho 🔴Baba science - Ramdev and dalals 🔴Pseudoscience - Ayush Ministry 🔴Fringe Science - Huberman, Biohackers, Anti-aging, Longevity cults 🔴Bad science - Ayush + Standard Science (Eg - Integrative Medicine at AIIMS, NIMHANS etc), B M Hegde 🔴Delusional Science - Homeopathy 🔴Looks like science - Wellness industry 🔴Our Science - Traditional Medicine 🔴Your Science - Anything against Traditions
I always thought science was universal. I wasn't aware that there is such a thing as "our science" and therefore "your science". Goodness!

The problem is @deepigoyal is marketing a device that measures blood flow in STA (ECA Circulation) and with that talks about Brain Flow This device is a fraud device because This device will wrongly say the blood flow to brain is good even in people who have blocks in ICA Circulation because it measures only STA and not ICA So Essentially This test will say that brain flow is good in those with good STA and Good ICA. That is OK This test will also say that brain flow is good in those with blocked ICA. This part is dangerous. And STA Flow will increase when there is ICA Circulation Block This device will show and increase in blood flow to brain when the blood flow is getting reduced This is very dangerous The device uses a wrong logic We are trying to point is to @deepigoyal and @agingroy but either they are too stupid to not understand this or too fraud to feign ignorance 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 For more details 1. 2. xitter.gq/spinesurgeon/status/21… 3. xitter.gq/spinesurgeon/status/21… 4. xitter.gq/spinesurgeon/status/21…
// Literally everything you have said has been stated in my post clearly. You have come into my replies trying to disagree when the post clearly lays out exactly what you are saying. Re-read it. Specially read the limitations and disclaimers. Improve your English language reading comprehension, I will re-read Harrison’s, I do that with every new edition without your recommendation. // Let me explain You shared a test and wrote about it That is OK But What does that test do Why is that test done This part you missed it That test is to check whether there is block in ICA Do you understand this at least now Now The very purpose of Harrison including this test in the book is because many people have blocks in ICA Circulation or ECA Circulation Is this clear to you at least now If there is no block in any one, this test itself is not needed This test is needed because people may have blocks You too said the same “to determine whether blood is reaching the brain through alternative pathways.” “In severe internal carotid artery disease, blood can reach the intracranial circulation through collateral connections between the external carotid artery and vessels around the eye.“ “can infer that the normal route supplying the brain is compromised and that collateral circulation has developed.” Did you post all these without basic understanding Now @deepigoyal is marketing a device that measures blood flow in STA (ECA Circulation) and with that talks about Brain Flow This device is a fraud device because This device will wrongly say the blood flow to brain is good even in people who have blocks in ICA Circulation because it measures only STA and not ICA Do you understand this So Essentially This test will say that brain flow is good in those with good STA and Good ICA. That is OK This test will also say that brain flow is good in those with blocked ICA. This part is dangerous. We are trying to point is to @deepigoyal and @agingroy but either they are too stupid to not understand this or too fraud to feign ignorance You yourself told about collaterals So Blood flow in ECA Can be more during ICA Blocks But this device will wrong say that ICA Flow is more Hence this is a dangerous device PS : I am questioning the technology of the device I am saying that Measuring STA and then concluding about ICA flow is stupid and dangerous. Now 1. You share a test which talks about blocks 2. You support a device which does not consider possibility of block and gives false assurance to users Either you are an idiot who did not understand the purpose of the test you shared or You are a fraud who tries to legitimize another fraud //If you say there is “no doubt” about a novel device then surely you have some evidence to back that up too?// Yes The evidence has been given by @deepigoyal and @agingroy themselves here I have explained in the following tweets 1. xitter.gq/spinesurgeon/status/21… 2. xitter.gq/spinesurgeon/status/21… 3. xitter.gq/spinesurgeon/status/21… // Anyone can conduct studies when it releases. I will do so, specifically because I’m curious. // Ok I can say that the patient is dead when torso and neck are seperate People with less Brain capacity may need an ECG Each one his way //This is a wellness wearable. Not a medical device. Please read the CDSCO rules on what sort of premarket studies are required for such devices. There is no regulatory burden to perform the sort of studies you’re demanding. Why is should we apply your personal standard over that of CDSCO?// You are wrong here I am not demanding any study I have already concluded that this is a fraud

They are arresting doctors in Odisha for standing with their patients who couldn’t get cured because no prescription could work against the impact of mining. To rub salt on the wound, BJP Odisha has abandoned ₹2 lakh cr claim on mining via MMDR act.

Not a single doctor's lobby is speaking up for Dr Randall. Every pressure group in medicine is corrupt & self serving. This poor man should not be in prison. What a shame.

I’m just venting, so please don’t take offence. I sincerely appreciate @INCIndia, @saptagiriulaka, @theliverdoc, and the locals for standing by Dr. Randall Sequeria and making every possible effort to help him when it mattered most. Thanks to @surheeta maam for offering legal help. What is the use of these so-called doctors’ associations if they cannot take a stand for a medicine specialist who sacrificed his comfort to serve the tribals of Sijilami & Kutrumali, Odisha, raise their concerns, and stand by them? He was arrested and slapped with arbitrary charges simply for taking a stand! This is what the so-called unity of doctors looks like. Is it any wonder that doctors are beaten across the country and so many are denied justice? I will never forget how no doctors’ association stood by a senior doctor when the system harassed him for fulfilling his fundamental duty as a doctor, not merely engaging in politics. And yes he is still behind bars. Pic- @IndianExpress & @theliverdoc . @RahulGandhi

I want to thank everyone for engaging with and amplifying this post here and on Instagram (where it went above 1M views) about my junior, Dr Randall Sequeira, a tribal medicine doctor who was jailed for serving adivasi communities in forsaken hills of Odisha and battling corporates looking to destroy the environment. instagram.com/p/DeuOATzgQIq/… As a result of our efforts, Dr. Randall was able to speak to his mother over phone from the jail. I got to know that, the first thing this doctor of the hills, told his mother was "Sorry". This is mind numbing. He is apologizing for doing what was right and getting punished for it. He is apologizing for standing up to destructive powers and apologizing for it. He is apologizing for making preventative care the norm instead of therapeutic damage control. What has this country become in the last decade or so? Doctors have to apologise for serving the underserved. Public safety advocates have to apologise for trying to save the environment. Healthcare activists have to apologise for standing up for primary care. Youth has to apologise for demanding impartiality and quality of life. On my post, there was a sudden increase in quotes (concentrated on 23 October 2026, around 18:28–19:22 IST), a tightly clustered set of posts that shared a highly uniform style, argument structure, and framing and consisted of accounts that were predominantly: - Indian, with heavy nationalist/Hindu cultural markers. - Blue-verified in many cases, with follower counts typically in the low tens of thousands. - Bios frequently feature: “Proud Indian,” “Nationalist,” “Sanatani,” “Jai Jai Shri Ram” / “जय श्री राम,” Indian flag emojis, “राष्ट्रहित सर्वोपरि,” “कट्टर राष्ट्रवादी,” “Sanatan Dharma,” “Radhey Radhey,” or similar. Examples: @Shrish_1987, @Shankarsingh992, @imRohit_IND, @ShagunX_, @PJha_666. - Not primarily medical, environmental, or activist accounts, but general political/social media commentators or supporters aligned with pro-government/nationalist narratives. These accounts are largely supportive of mining corporates Adani and Vedanta and pro-Govt. None of them provided any clear rebuttals. Nationalism means being proud of the country and not being proud of becoming lapdogs of the government. In a better world, a doctor wouldn't be jailed for standing up for rights of the underserved and treating them with compassion and empathy. Idiots claiming Dr. Randall was converting tribals into Christians are thinking and responding from their pelvises, not brains. Religion is the last refuge of scoundrels. And India is full of them. It's a fcking shame. Medicine is also about environmental health and social justice. It's not just diagnosis and treatment. The government must release the good doctor and stop criminalizing healthcare activism because it doesn't feed and bulk their greedy interests.
My dear friends, please, I hope to demand your absolute attention to this matter: In 2018, my junior from St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru, Dr. Randall Sequeira (middle in the pic), trekked up a steep, bauxite-rich plateau in Odisha to hold a monsoon health camp in the indigenous Kutiya Kondh village of Kutrumali. In a piece he wrote then titled "Kutrumali’s Demons," Randall described sleeping under a dripping school roof in freezing fog, borrowing utensils from a local health worker to cook khichdi, and waking up at 6 AM to a line of tribal mothers. He wrote with heartbreak about treating malnourished toddlers with protruding bellies and visible ribs, listening to stories of stillbirths and chronic fevers, while noticing the shiny new solar lights installed by a mining conglomerate eyeing the aluminium ore beneath the villagers' feet. Comparing his small medical team to hobbits sheltering in the night, Randall worried about the outside forces coming for that fragile village. Randall stayed with the tribal/ adivasi community to serve them. After St. John’s and an MD in Internal Medicine from SMS Jaipur, he gave up every comfort of urban medicine to live in Kalahandi, recognizing that clinical prescriptions are meaningless when indigenous communities are stripped of their forests, water, and dignity. On the night of October 16, Odisha police picked up Dr. Randall Sequeira and Dalit activist Laxman Naik at 11 PM from his home in Bhawanipatna. A gentle physician who has spent years trekking up hills to save tribal children is now locked in Rayagada sub-jail under frivolous but draconian charges (attempt to murder, dacoity), simply for standing with Adivasis peaceful protesting the mining of their sacred hills in Sijimali and Kutrumali. thewire.in/rights/randall-se… Odisha Govt. said it will cut down forests to connect tribal villages. But it was a way to bypass green laws and fast track London based Vedanta’s, and Adani's mining plans. Local organisations estimate that around 45 villages depend on these hills and would be affected. reporters-collective.in/trc/… The state has answered with repression rather than dialogue. In the last three years, at least 43 police cases have been filed and over a hundred Adivasis and Dalits, both women and men, have been incarcerated in Odisha jails. For example, from In March and april 2026, 8, 2026, to April 8, 2026, within one month, 24 people were sent to jail, 217 were made accused, and the number of “others” total 1,140. An activist who was not named in the original FIRs, but has since been implicated in about 12 cases, so that bail in one case is followed by arrest in another. This pattern of capture and releases have been used to crush rational dissent. Dr. Randall understood that being a good doctor means understanding that prescriptions cannot compensate for the denial of land rights, that surgery cannot undo displacement and that no medical can substitute for the basic infrastructure a government has failed to provide. thehindu.com/sci-tech/health… To my fellow medical fraternity, and every citizen with a conscience: a kind physician who embodies the highest ethics of our profession is being criminalized to clear the way for bauxite mining. Please do not let his voice be buried in a sub-jail. Amplify this, demand due process, and demand the immediate release. Please sign in this form to show solidarity: forms.gle/o2Rj2Uu3tXaoWu9dA If anyone can help out in this situation please reach out to Medico Friend Circle - mfcindia.org/

Medical colleges should provide an auto to PGs doing night duties, especially to female PGs living outside the campus. Many don’t own a vehicle and getting ola or uber at night is difficult and risky. Also there are stupid and scary dogs at night too.

I have done my MBBS from a govt medical college & hospital in Delhi. My hospital has: >No MRI machines >No 24-USG, never seen a FAST scan in my life. > Single functioning ABG machine in the entire building wo bhi time to time kharab hojati >Only 1 LSCS OT in the Dept of Obgynae. >Some wards are virtually running on diclo, pantop, emset and monocef. >Poor residents spending most of their time writing long discharge papers, copying the same template over and over, tying and untying bundles of files. 1970s technology, no existence of a electronic record system. >No psychotherapists in the department of psychiatry. >Crucial Investigations like TFTs cant be done on routine basis >Most of the critical patients come here in the hope ki this is a well equipped tertiary hospital only to get referred to LNJP, GTB, thus wasting their crucial time. >But the Government doesnt care. It will rather redirect funds to AYUSH mantralay in hope of finding something miraculous in Gow mutra. >Imagine you see all the dismal conditions in your hospital, the shortcomings, the lack of resources, the for-no-reason overworked residents and then you see Govt increasing budget of alternative medicine which no developed country endorses scientifically or financially. >Imagine your own fellow doctors not raising their voices, imagine calling yourself Vishwaguru after all these. >We have a failed healthcare system. Its a collective failure. You need some extreme level of tonedeafness to support the government after being an intern in an average government hospital in India.
A lot of people have been voicing concerns about the homeopathy practitioner treating ICU patients. Please note, a homeopathy practitioner inside the ICU or anywhere inside a real hospital is not a doctor. It's Homeopathywale or Homeopathywali. Ms. Kalapana Savani the Homeopath who has been performing procedures inside an ICU, assisting high risk pregancies, giving new born care to high risk neonates has not been investigated, nor an official statement given from the Maate Hospital. Not only is this hospital is in violation of multiple patient safety terms and conditions, including allowing a Homepath to enter a high risk procedures OT, treat critically ill ICU patients, the so-called OBGyn Dr. Vishal Savani is also allowing a bystander to pour liquids into a woman's mouth while she is in labour without foreseeing severe lung aspiration dangers and also posing with new borns upside down and endangering their lives. Why is this hospital allowed to function? The great National Medical Comission was salivating and coming at me rabidly for "professional misconduct" when Ayurveda and Homeopathy Councils made frivolous complaints against me for calling them pseudoscientific. thehindu.com/news/national/k… Are you sleeping on this now your Highnesses? Are the new @NMC_BHARAT rules only for ethical conduct only for competent doctors who do their duties properly and not for doctor-quacks like these can do anything they want? Do your job wastrels!
