Insane - my post on Eth-magicians got deleted too. I laid out my concerns as a long time solo staker and just got censored - wow. And no I don't had other sock puppets or pseudonyms from the same IPs. Holy Ethereum - what went wrong to you.

I’m proud to announce that we’ve donated ownership of the PunkStrategy contract to the NODE Foundation.
I view the contracts we create at TokenWorks as art. NODE is already the home of the CryptoPunks IP, and I think they’re the right people to carry this idea forward. Being able to donate PunkStrategy to them means a lot to me.
With this transfer, TokenWorks’ share of trading fees will now go to NODE, giving them a new revenue stream to support artists, exhibitions, and more. We think this is the best home for the project.
PunkStrategy runs autonomously and is designed to keep running for as long as Ethereum does. At the time of writing, the contract holds 37 Punks, which remain governed by its rules. The owner can only do three things:
* Set the trading fee on the hook between 1% and 10%
* Set the relisting multiplier for newly purchased Punks between 1.1x and 10x
* Claim the owner’s share of trading fees.
We’ll continue tweeting about PunkStrategy’s buys and sells and supporting the project. Both TokenWorks and I personally remain significant holders of PNKSTR.

This is more @cryptopunks than I've seen sold in 24 hours since I started buying ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf back in the fall of 2025.
Back then, ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf immediately rang true to me as the equivalent to punks that @MicroStrategy is to @Bitcoin.
Plus, it has a bit of an $SPY effect because a portion of every @BoredApeYC and a whole bunch of other collections burn ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf, too. That made it feel like a bet on the entire digital collectibles ecosystem.
To me, this is a similar web 3 building the rails problem that we've also seen with @CandyDigital (which I admittedly studied much deeper and have a lot more background knowledge as a marketplace founder that creates a very different lens and perspective from most traditional collectors in the space).
We're seeing those rails get built better as @Rhynotic very wisely is connecting his projects, ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf and ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 so that everyone benefits. It is starting to create a flywheel that's going to have outsized results as ETH and Punks start to move.
My DCA is about $.027, so I'm down roughly 50% still, but I like ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf a lot for the reasons above AND because I see it as a leveraged play on punks and @ethereum AND because it's far more liquid to move in and out of.
I know most people that bull post talk about it going up, up, up.
I'm not going to do that, because I'm not really sure what happens from here.
My biggest concern is seeing the treasury replenish itself.
But I'm pretty excited, and I think that if we can continue to replenish the treasury through volume and Punks (and maybe a few more clever/bright ideas from @Rhynotic) that this is going to be a story that people will talk about many, many years from now.
Super excited to see what comes next!

Could not agree with you more, and I said exactly this to the people designing and implementing proof-of-stake in 2020.
I don't think we can get rough consensus on any issuance change.

Hey people, this is getting out of hand. I have a kind request to Ethereum core devs. Guys, I do appreciate your work. You have tons of legitimacy and a lot of love from Ethereum community. But please, instead of fighting a war you cannot win, do what you are best at: use your brains to either make a point that this EIP is going to work (I still have not seen convincing arguments it will not make things worse) or propose alternative solutions. The problem is not issuance. The problem is concentration under economies of scale. You have to address this specific problem and convince real people this is going to work.
