"When you know what's coming, prepare. When you don't know what's coming, position. ... "

But I’m sure you have that person that you can count on, that person who’s there for you when you need it.
And if you don’t, I deeply hope you find it soon cause we can’t deal with everything by ourselves.
And you shouldn’t do it with anyone.
Be careful who you share your problems with.
Some “friends” only like our mundane side, some “friends” only want our company to have fun, some “friends” don’t even like us that much.
So what I wanted to tell you today is:
If you’re going through something, share it with someone!
We Men, in general, struggle with this. We don’t like to open up with friends and share our weaknesses.
All those people having a great time, all those people who seem to “have it all figured out”, all these people who seem to “have their shit together”…
…maybe they don’t?
It’s my subconscious telling me to hide my true emotions with all I’ve got.
Once I realized that, I started thinking that this is surely happening to other people too.
And I started looking around.
If that’s what I’m feeling inside and I’m in a social situation, that’s when the happiest version of me comes out.
It’s all fake, of course, but I suddenly feel this urge to show the best side of me.
I recently came to the realization that the lower I feel inside, the higher I look outside!
But that only happens when I’m really broke inside, when I’d like to just be by myself in a dark room and cry.
The second easiest way to approach women is asking for opinions (best for women in
groups).
Ask about differences between men and women, relationships or about style.
They'll talk for hours 😉
The first easiest way to approach women is what I call
the "situational approach".
Just notice something around you, or about her, and make a comment about it.
And don't forget to smile! 🙂

“Male depression is nearly always a result of learned helplessness. But health providers treat it like female depression and try to make men feel loved instead of powerful.” — @TheBrometheus

Thank you for the tip! What supplement would you then suggest for someone like me in the non-high-cortisol-levels with the same benefits? Something to increase focus and energy?

Choose your suck.
“Every single pursuit – no matter how wonderful and exciting and glamorous it may initially seem – comes with its own brand of shit sandwich, its own lousy side effects.
‘Everything sucks some of the time.’
You just have to decide what sort of suckage you’re willing to deal with.
So the question is not so much ‘What are you passionate about?’
The question is ‘What are you passionate enough about that you can endure the most disagreeable aspects of the work?’
Because if you love something and want something enough – whatever it is – then you don’t really mind eating the shit sandwich that comes with it.” — @markmanson
