Long before it turned genocide denier, the @BBC produced a documentary that exposed three truths: One: The genocide against the Tutsi was planned. Two: The plan was known to the US State Department months before hell was unleashed on Rwanda’s Tutsi. Three: The attack on the plane was nothing but a pretext to unleash genocidal violence. "Rwanda, That Local Thing" is just one episode among eight in a series called Corridors of Power: Should the US Police the World? Here is what British investigative journalist @lindamelvern writes in her recent article, "A preventable genocide, a denied responsibility: What 'Corridors of Power' reveals about Rwanda": "Anyone who had bothered to examine the cables from Kigali, carefully filed in the State Department’s Africa Bureau, would have found the outline of a planned, political campaign to exterminate the Tutsi." Read more: newtimes.co.rw/article/34670… Let that sink in. They knew. The documentary goes further, revealing that the extermination plan was personally disclosed to General Roméo Dallaire, commander of UNAMIR, back in January 1994… by a regime insider. Here was the plan, in cold blood: -Kill Belgian peacekeepers to drive the UN mission out. - Then kill all Tutsi. Lists of Tutsi were drawn up. Weapons stockpiled. Tens of thousands of Interahamwe militias trained and mobilized. The media, the RTLM, would do the rest, whipping the masses into a killing frenzy. Three months before the genocide, three months before the plane was struck, the plan was already laid out, ready to be executed. The attack on the plane, launched from the Kanombe military barracks, controlled by the genocidal army, was never the cause. It was the excuse. The signal to begin the slaughter. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a genocide denier. Plain and simple. 🎯Did you know? Western intelligence agencies quickly identified Hutu extremists as the perpetrators of the 1994 plane attack, which served as both the pretext and the signal for the mass killings of Tutsi to begin. Within hours of the April 6, 1994 downing of President Juvénal Habyarimana’s plane, multiple Western intelligence services, including those of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, converged on a stark, unmistakable conclusion: The attack had originated from within the Hutu extremist power structure itself! Belgian military intelligence (SGR), deeply embedded in Rwanda through its UN peacekeeping role, produced a damning analysis as early as April 22, 1994. It stated unequivocally that “everything now suggests” the perpetrators belonged to the “hardline faction of the Ba-Hutu within the Rwandan army.” The speed and organization of the ensuing killings, the analysis stressed, proved premeditation. Ndi Umunyarwanda is the foundation of a nation reborn from ashes, the ideological shield that supports "never again," and a legacy we must cherish and pass on to the next generation, each of whom must work tirelessly to perfect the union.

"How does celebrating sanctions against your own country qualify as political opposition? A politically mature opposition challenges government policies, proposes credible alternatives and demonstrates how it would improve the lives of citizens. It does not celebrate economic pressure against its own country, undermine national security or attack every achievement simply because it was delivered by a government it opposes." ellenkampire.com/2026/11/07/…

And it is working. President Kagame has created the conditions for sustained economic growth in Rwanda. Double digits amid global shocks in the energy market. That's impressive. #Rwandaworks
President Kagame is a leader committed to always create a business-friendly environment: "There are many things I’m not capable of doing. But I learnt that I’m capable of doing something, and that was to enable, to support others in what they can do and especially in my position now, I found that while I can’t do business, I can support those who are capable of doing business to do it, by creating an environment for them to do that, so that they can succeed, and in the end, I and many others benefit from that."

Tshisekedi's tantrums about the Francophonie leadership are really a clown show. Glad to see some reasonable Congolese voices speaking out on this. One thing is for sure: the more world leaders try to appease these thugs running Congo, the more brazen the thugs become.
@YNdjoli @TemuniP @TiteRGatabazi @JustinNkumbarhi @albcontact @GahiziSafari @AwaziDr @TiteRGatabazi @SergioMayamba @Bmueka @sadala_tatata @IsulaTiti26633 @BenjaminAmuri @GentilMulume @MugobeS @onduhungirehe @albcontact @GahiziSafari @AwaziDr @amluzayamo

Kigali International Airport (KGL), though small and compact, is exceptionally clean, efficient, and well-managed. Last night's @FlyRwandAir flight WB-402 from Kigali back to Nairobi was incredibly smooth and comfortable. Murakoze cyane! 🇷🇼

It is not by accident that your so-called human rights defenders endlessly write about FDLR supporter Victoire Ingabire but never talk about this man, Benjamin Babunga. It is by design. The violent regimes in Burundi and Congo have a mission: to destabilise Rwanda. Their crimes will therefore never be spoken of. In this script, the FDLR and their supporters have been recast as the victims, and Rwanda and whoever is associated with it is a villain and can die in silence. But the script is a lie. Justice will come for Benjamin.

#Rwanda's economy grew by double digits anyway. The primitive politicians on our southern and western borders can't stop us from winning.
Under Kagame's leadership, #Rwanda's growth would already be in double digits if primitive politics were not running the show on our southern and western borders. The EAC would be the continent's showcase. Kenyans finally get it.

If it's about money, why is no one else lining up? Rwanda also took refugees from Libya, and that was way before the mythical invasion. You're evil and corrupt, Ken. Don't project your cunning and greedy ways onto us. You took Saudi money to buy your silence, we remember.
Why is Rwanda so eager to take immigrants deported from Europe? Apart from the money, it is trying to gain immunity from criticism for its invasion of eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (using its own troops and its M23 proxy rebels). trib.al/6Z1kCZw

Our detractors will never tell you how well Rwanda has done to take care of those who flee their countries. They just complain and offer no solution. Rwanda will always be a land of refuge for the oppressed.
President Kagame, shaped by years in exile, knows firsthand what it means to have no safe place to grow and excel. Under his leadership, Rwanda, despite its small size, has become a destination for Africans from across the continent and a home for refugees. He is not seeking immunity from anyone. He is a Pan-Africanist who has consistently offered solutions to global crises, and that deserves respect.

Belgium and the Western world wished we could forget about this and let history repeat itself, with Tshisekedi arming the genocidal FDLR. We will never allow it!
During the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, identity cards became death warrants at roadblocks. When cards were missing, armed Hutu men and the 'Interahamwe' militia used racial classifications set under Belgian colonial rule to select victims.

Incompetent Tshisekedi continues to plunder his country, and people die because of him. 10,668 cases of Ebola, with 5,198 dead, and he doesn't care. Nurses and doctors are still not paid, and the money to fight the outbreak has disappeared. He is putting the whole continent in danger.
The Ebola outbreak has spread to new areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with 10 neighbouring countries at high risk as officials step up border health measures.

In #Mozambique, The mercenaries failed. The colonial armies failed. The UN would have failed too, just as it did in Congo. But the African people's army succeeded. That's the army sanctioned by the US. Over 700,000 have returned to their homes after the Rwandan army restored security. The only reason this mission, this cooperation between sister countries, is not actively sabotaged is because it also protects Western multi-billion gas projects. The Western media will not tell you this story. We must tell it. There is one thing that is consistent about #Burundi's President Ndayishimiye: he is not just the most useless president of the African Union. He is also the most useless president of Burundi. And the man he succeeded, the late President Nkurunziza, called him the most useless secretary general of the ruling party.

African media platforms ignored this success story. Yet, when Islamist militants were killing fellow Africans, many outlets readily reproduced Western media narratives portraying Africa as incapable of providing security for itself. Anyway, thank you to the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) and the Rwanda National Police (RNP) for helping restore peace and stability in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique! Africa’s success stories deserve to be told too! 🇷🇼🇲🇿

If only a % of the material & human resources that have been used to fight against M23 since 2021 had been put to eradicate #ADF, 10s of 1000s of lives would have been saved. This is happening while #MONUSCO watches & continues 2 support GDRC bombing its civilians in #Minembwe.

Want to see what a people's army is? The army that President Kagame envisioned and built? Watch this video of Rwandan soldiers in #Mozambique. Wherever they appear, the people come to them, proud to show the result of a day's labor, fishing in this case. They feel safe. They are smiling. A few years ago, this beach in Palma, Cabo Delgado, was empty. Close to a million people had fled the jihadists. Today, hundreds of thousands have returned under the protection of the people's army. It is worth recalling that “Kagame's vision runs counter to the traditional view of security forces as detached institutions that remain confined to barracks and offices until called upon to fight an external enemy or, worse, used as a blunt instrument of domestic coercion. Rwanda, under his leadership, has spent the last three decades rewriting the role of security institutions. Army members are never seen as a repressive tool of the state, but rather as a trusted friend in times of need. It is no surprise, then, that independent statistics consistently rank the security forces among the most trusted institutions in the country. By maintaining an unbreakable bond with the population, the RDF ensures that subversive elements find no fertile ground within Rwanda's borders or in its areas of operation. Ultimately, the RDF has proven that a modern military's greatest weapon is not its arsenal, but its alignment with the hearts and minds of the people. It stands as a powerful reminder that when an army belongs to the people, peace is not just maintained, it is sustained.” Read this good article on the topic: From the RPA to RDF: the Evolution of a People's Army. ktpress.rw/2026/07/from-the-…

@ruhumuza @AAwithJGS
