Since 2005 Premier League clubs have had a total interest cost on borrowings and financial debt of £3.5bn. One club and one set of owners is responsible for 35% of the total. #Glazernomics Figures per @valuball

🚨 Darrah MacAnthony 🗣"I think every Football club bends the rules where they can. It's just not out there in the open. They haven't had their internal documents leaked/stolen — there's probably a few clubs in the corner blushing, thinking thank god it's on them" 👀 #ManCity

I must say that I’ve really not understood this virtue signaling that fans do over other fans like there is a fanbase that will honestly not behave exactly how City fans are behaving now. Fanbases that have defended racists at some point, some that have defended an abuser, some that defended an accused rapist, some that stood behind a player that hit and killed a person with his car, these guys are virtue signaling City fans too. Let us be serious please. Please, we can make our points about how City are cheats without this nonsense moral superiority over their fans. Fans are tribal and will stand with their club.
Real mask-off moment for City fans today. They had an opportunity to distance themselves from their owners actions, instead they’ve roundly celebrated and condoned them. They should get zero grace going forward and especially when sanctions drop. They deserve what comes.

Man City haven’t ruined football. Man City haven’t ruined the premier league. Football and the Premier league has been ruined by a handful of teams who have too much say as to how the league is run. It’s been ruined by the Anti Competitive rules that have been put in place

Why are Sky persisting with this weird and completely false narrative that everyone wanted Liverpool to win today? Absolutely no one in their right mind would ever support them horrible bastards outside of Merseyside and Ireland man 🤣🤣🤣

That was objectively the funniest outcome you could’ve wished for today, especially after all the sanctimonious bullshit from the likes of Neville, Carragher, Winter etc pre-match. Chill out lads, it’s not the fucking Nuremberg trials here. 🩵

Got to feel for Carrick. How on earth was he meant to prepare a team for today when he’s clearly still emotionally scarred by United’s title capitulation 14 years ago?!

More pro-City bias from the Premier League. Hate to see it.
I see Chris Kavanagh, a referee from Manchester whose brother supposedly has a Manchester City season ticket, has been put in charge for the Liverpool game. No surprise.

When Rodri puts you 1-0 up in the Champions League final with 20 minutes to go but you remember Gareth Barry was paid an extra £20k in 2009 so it doesn’t count

As things stand, the only official word to have emerged from #ManCity this afternoon is a photo of Enzo Maresca's feet on Instagram.
