When you demonize something, you don’t care if your “solution” destroys it. The regulatory deception runs deep: EFSA studies showed reduced feed intake, decreased organ weights (including ovaries and heart), and altered enzyme levels, but regulators classified these as “non-adverse.” A 2-year rat study found mesenchymal cell tumors in females at high doses, with the original report concluding “evidence of carcinogenicity” yet authorities deemed it “safe for consumers.” The same safety assessment warned: “should be considered corrosive to the eyes, a skin irritant and potentially harmful by inhalation.” The FDA approved it in under 12 months, far shorter than industry standard. Millions of years of evolution (or divine creation) perfected ruminant digestion. We barely understand the complexity of that biological system. Yet climate alarmists think they can chemically override it with no consequences? This isn’t science. It’s a reductionist worldview from elitists who think they can play God with nature. Cows and ruminants have always had a critical role in ecosystems. They are vital to our planet. Farmers hold millennia of wisdom about caring for animals and stewarding the land. But in the modern world they are mocked, ridiculed, and blamed. Large corporations squeeze them out. Politicians sell them out. Ideological movements scapegoat them. Bovaer is being used in the US as well. And some would love to mandate it. If anyone claims to care about “climate change” but doesn’t talk about regenerative agriculture and the vital role cattle play on pasture, they don’t actually care about climate. They’ve been infected by a disease of the mind. The irony is devastating: a product meant to “save the planet” is harming dairy herds, slashing productivity, and raising fears of contaminating the food chain. The real winners? DSM-Firmenich and their investors: BlackRock and Vanguard cashing in on mandates and climate subsidies. We should be trusting our farmers and ranchers more and protecting them from entities that seek to destroy them. We can’t be playing around with nature like this. We can’t be jeopardizing food security and our collective livelihoods to these vapid, rash, and imprudent decisions any longer.
