No one will ever convince me this type of leader and player was worth a 3rd and a 5th round pick.. I would have rode until the wheels fell off with Q and will stand ten toes on the belief it was a mistake to trade him.

Colts coaches believe in rookie guard Jalen Farmer. Who else? Quenton Nelson, who before he left promised to continue answering all of Farmer’s questions, mentoring him as an opponent a couple thousand miles away. indystar.com/story/sports/nf…
Colts believe rookie G Jalen Farmer can step in for Quenton Nelson. So does Nelson

Quenton Nelson is no longer the Colts' starting left guard after he was traded Tuesday. In his place, they look to rookie 4th-round pick Jalen Farmer

Can Josh Downs play well during a trade request? Reggie Wayne: “I think he is, but I also think we should have more than 2 wins, so that means nothing. “We’ll find out. He’s put himself in this situation, and I guess he’s ready for what comes with it.” indystar.com/story/sports/nf…

Reggie Wayne on Josh Downs' reaction to trade request: 'He put himself in this situation'

Colts WR coach Reggie Wayne says he's there to coach whoever's in his room -- for better or worse. But what if one of his receivers doesn't want to be there anymore?

Sources: The #Bears are releasing DE Jamree Kromah. The 26-year-old was a preseason star and one of Chicago’s highest-graded defenders in each of the last two weeks. However, the Bears needed the roster spot after trading for Jeffery Simmons.

Spot on. If the Colts had other pieces they missed out on signing because of the Pierce deal I could understand the frustration. The Colts have very few young players worth investing in and Pierce was the best FA reciever on the market.

Replying to @JakeElrod44
Sure it sucks with his heel and all but I’ll still defend this signing. You need a few building blocks and Pierce to me is a solid one to have bc he possesses a skill that’s extremely hard to come by. I’d argue a healthy Pierce this season and Ballard isn’t fired just yet

Vikings wanted to re-sign Daniel Jones but Jones left so he could have clearer path to starting job Vikings have a QB now but ... if something happened to Murray, or team felt it needed an alternative ... Just thinking out loud

For everyone hoping that Steichen will be gone after '27, refer to this video. It's possible I'm reading this answer wrong, it's also very possible Shane is back for one more season.

People just really don't get it... Steichen was DONE with AR. Why would Pierce re-sign here with not knowing who his QB would be? If it wasn't Daniel it would have been some outside QB and Pierce wasn't going to sign on for that. Steichen was NOT starting AR this season.

Fuck it Alec can go too since he wasnt going to stayed in Indy if they wasnt going to resign Daniel Jones He was going to follow him anyways
