Remember when Henry Novak was stabbed to death and we were told by Hampshire Police that the first thought of his shattered grieving loved ones was to urge us not to let the slaughter cause division in our society? Yeah right...That had Starmer's State Interference all over it. This Thursday 5th November Henry Nowak’s family finally have their say in Dear Henry: Our Fight for Justice at 9pm on ITV Henry's family claims they were manipulated by police “We have been failed multiple times and manipulated in our darkest hours. Some decisions were made to protect the police and their reputation rather than help us as a family.” telegraph.co.uk/gift/96263a5…

You see this is the problem. Nobody in the Cabinet has ever run a business. Most small businesses owners work harder than their staff, they also frequently put their homes at risk as security for business loans. This Labour government simply don’t have a clue. My qualifications to comment - small businesses owner for decades!

Brilliant from Kemi. The reason Andy Burnham has so much spare time to do social media and reality TV is because he’s not dealing with the issues that matter. Cut welfare, cut taxes, increase defence, get a grip. He makes so many mistakes because he’s so out of his depth.

LIB DEM SILENCE: We have made every effort to engage all political parties on the issue of single-sex spaces in the NHS and to ensure they hear directly from female staff affected by the impact of gender identity policies in the workplace. We have met with representatives from the Labour Government, the Conservatives, and Reform. We have also repeatedly reached out to the @LibDems, particularly following their troubling treatment of gender-critical women at their recent conference. From @EdwardJDavey, @timfarron, and @HelenMorganMP, we have received only silence. Given that silence, we hoped the party's spokesperson for women and equalities, Marie Goldman MP, would want to hear the experiences of frontline NHS nurses involved in a landmark legal case. Again, silence. Women who believe that biological sex matters, that truth matters, and that every person deserves dignity and respect are hearing that message loud and clear

I don't think the impact of this change to pensions is fully priced in yet. The punitive tax rates are one thing, but the administration process are going to cause a lot of unnecessary grief as well thetimes.com/money/tax/artic…

Having already imposed new inheritance tax rules that threaten the survival of family businesses passed down in death, the Government is now threatening further taxes that could force their ‘extinction’ when passed from one generation to the next during their owners’ lifetimes. For decades, these family-run businesses have been the lifeblood of towns & villages across Britain - yet this Government seems determined to make it harder for them to survive, whichever way they are passed on. This risks more wanton destruction of businesses built through generations of hard work, dedication, & loving care by families who have devoted their lives to serving their communities. telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

Universal Credit was designed to make work pay, simplify the benefits system and help people escape dependency. That principle remains as important today as it was when I introduced it. But successive governments have allowed policy decisions to undermine its purpose. During Covid, warnings were ignored, money was handed out with insufficient checks and we are now living with the consequences. We have created a system where millions are trapped on benefits, too many young people are written off before their working lives have even begun, and the welfare bill continues to spiral. The answer is not simply to spend more money. It is to restore the moral purpose of work. Work is about far more than a wage. It brings independence, dignity, self-respect and the opportunity to build a better life. That must once again be at the heart of welfare reform. Ce magnifique édifice — un monument démocratique — n’existe plus après ce soir. Les barbares sont en train de l’emporter.
These degenerates can destroy, but they can only dream of being able to create something so beautiful. The French govt could have chosen to protect this and other historic sites. Instead it chose to indulge the savages. What a mess

The NHS policy of including males in female spaces has had devastating results for women's safety, as our ground-breaking NHS Reports revealed. 🚩 Over a four year period more than 6,500 rapes and sexual assaults - some against children under 13 - were committed in hospitals in England and Wales. 🚩 In Scotland 276 sexual assaults and 12 rapes were committed between 2019 and 2024 in just 57 of Scotland’s 198 hospitals. The NHS put women and children in harm’s way with its relentless drive for ‘inclusion’ of males in the female estate. The news that the NHS in England will finally comply with the law is good news and long overdue. Link to WRN's Hospital Safety Reports in the next posts.

Hertford CC remembers Lawrie Wright (1940–2026), the “quiet titan” who scored 20,000+ runs and made 868 appearances. A loyal clubman who shaped generations of cricketers, he will be greatly missed. Funeral: 30 October, 12pm at St Andrew’s Church, Hertford.

Inciting violence against women should be cause for the police to act and act swiftly. If politicians are serious about stemming the tide of domestic abuse this is an easy win. Male violence against women should never be tolerated. Allowing encouragement to assault women is not worthy of respect in a democratic society.
These extremist imams preached that domestic violence against women is OK and in some cases encouraged rape as well I will be writing to the police on Monday to investigate - inciting violence and rape is a criminal offence Two mosques are in Shabana Mahmood’s own constituency

Andy, this has got to be a joke. Around half of the cost of petrol is composed of tax that you impose. At the current average UK petrol price of 174.7p per litre, around £23.49 of every £50 spent on petrol goes to your Government in tax - 47% of the total bill. If you were serious about cutting the cost of fuel, you would reduce the tax.
