This statement from JD Vance is stunning it its honesty, it also spells out the divide in the GOP between those who accept this reality, no matter how challenging it may be, and those who rail against it.

To think our PM has used an invite from the king as an excuse to attend a conference whilst our country burns with another rate rise is obscene. What a hypocrite when he has pushed for a republic in 2025.

The TOTAL DEMOLITION of the IPCC
Our latest peer-reviewed paper concludes that fossil carbon is a NEGLIGIBLE component of the net atmospheric COโ increase.
500 years of isotopic evidence.
Elementary mass conservation.
A devastating mathematical result.

Fossil Fuels Did NOT Cause the CO2 Rise.
New peer-reviewed paper just dropped. 500 years of data. The verdict is in.
Fossil carbon's contribution to rising CO2:
effectively ZERO.
The entire IPCC/NASA/NOAA/EPA climate narrative rests on a claim that just got mathematically falsified.

Alboโs golf club rort is the gift that keeps on giving - and Credlin nailed why itโs killing him.
As Angus Taylor asked in Parliament: the PM promised no CGT or negative gearing changes, then did them. Promised a $275 power bill cut he never delivered.
Denied mocking the Japanese PM when he did. Denied falling off a stage when he did. Claimed his $6m Marrickville Golf Club grant, 200m from his house, was for sewerage when it wasnโt.
Said the program wasnโt invite only when it was.
Why does this PM have such a difficult relationship with the truth?
Credlin is nailed it, this crystallises his incompetence and deceit, and marks a confident Opposition Leaderโs ascendancy.
He was an honorary member for 14 years, undisclosed until caught. The invite only process involved a former staffer.
The NSW government already fixed the actual sewerage issue. Instead of admitting it was for clubhouse upgrades, he doubled down.
The Senate is now probing the wider $560m pork barrel.
Same pattern elsewhere: hundreds of thousands to Laborโs own Ballarat Trades Hall/union HQ.
Meanwhile, veterans and over 65s cop cuts. It stinks. A
previously underwhelming PM is becoming loathed because, as Credlin keeps showing, he treats the truth as optional.

Anthony Albanese has done something no Australian prime minister has ever done before.
He's taken a free trade agreement โ a document that is supposed to be about buying and selling โ and he's stuffed it full of climate ideology until it's barely recognisable as trade at all.
This isn't a free trade deal. It's a climate agreement wearing a trade deal as a disguise.
Here's what his own government's documents admit. DFAT published a paper titled "Benefits for Trade, Environment and Climate," and buried in it is this line: for the first time in a free trade agreement, Australia has made a binding commitment to implement the obligations under the Paris Agreement.
Not a reference. Not a nod. A binding commitment. And the same document says the agreement can be suspended over serious violations of climate obligations.
So if a future Australian government โ any government, Labor or Liberal โ decides the Paris targets are too expensive, too punishing, too destructive to our economy, Europe can drag us before a dispute panel and suspend the deal. That's not sovereignty. That's a leash.
And Albanese knows exactly what he's doing. Ursula von der Leyen stood in our own Parliament and said she was proud to have made decarbonisation a defining pillar of this agreement. A defining pillar. In a trade deal. The woman running Europe didn't hide it. She celebrated it. And our Prime Minister sat there and smiled.
Now let's talk about what these targets actually mean for ordinary Australians. The 2030 target is a forty-three percent cut below two thousand and five levels. The Climate Change Authority itself admits emissions need to more than double their current rate of reduction to get there in four years.
The Institute of Public Affairs ran the numbers and found that meeting the twenty thirty-five target of sixty-two to seventy percent would require the equivalent of a two hundred and ninety billion dollar tax burden over a decade. That's not a rounding error. That's a generation of wealth confiscated in the name of a theory that Europe itself is quietly walking back as its own industries collapse.
And here's the kicker that should make every Australian furious. The European Union has told us point blank โ once negotiations are done, they're done.
Don Farrell repeated it. There is no reopening. There is no amendment. Whatever is written in that text is written in stone, and it binds not just Albanese but every prime minister who comes after him.
This is a man who can't win a debate on climate policy at the ballot box, so he's outsourcing it to Brussels.
He's taking the most contentious, most divisive policy in Australian politics and locking it into an international treaty so that even if the people vote him out, the ideology survives him. That's not governance. That's entrenchment.
Why is any of this in a trade deal in the first place? Because the far left has learned that you can't sell climate destruction directly to voters, so you smuggle it in through the back door of agreements nobody reads.
You attach it to something people want โ cheaper wine, more beef exports โ and hope they don't notice the poison pill. And when the Coalition objects, Albanese calls them nativist and protectionist. He turns legitimate sovereignty concerns into a culture war so he doesn't have to answer the actual question: why should a future elected Australian government be unable to change its own energy policy without asking permission from Europe?
But before we get to the treaty, let's look at what the green agenda has already done to this country on its own. Because the damage isn't theoretical. It's on every power bill in Australia right now.
Household electricity bills are up thirty-five percent since the start of twenty twenty-two. Gas is up forty-nine percent.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has offered One Nation MP David Farley an extra staffer on a $200,000 salary package, in an unsolicited proposal the party has rejected as an attempt to use taxpayer money to win favour with the new MP.
A letter authorising Farley to hire an additional staff member was hand-delivered to the MP's Parliament House office on Monday.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese been issued a "Please Explain" after offering a $200k staff member to David Farley outside of One Nation's unresolved staff requests, prompting accusations Labor has tried to "buy cooperation or silence".

Well, another Cardinal has come out with a, shall we say, puzzling take on evangelization.
A few years ago, Cardinal Amรฉrico Aguiar, at the time auxiliary bishop of Lisbon, said that he and the other organizers of World Youth Day in his hometown had no interest in converting anyone to Christ.
Now Cardinal Jean-Paul Vesco of Algeria has opined that โthe Church is not there to convertโ and โChristians should approach other religions through fraternity rather than seeking conversions.โ
Excuse me, butโฆwhat?
Last time I checked, the Founder said, โAll authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.โ Sure sounds like conversion to me.
When St. Paul came to Corinth or Athens or Thessalonica, his purpose was not to listen or to form a discussion group but rather to declare an unnerving message: the euangelion (glad tidings) that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead.
So impassioned is he for this work that he says, โI have become all things to all people, that I might by all means save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospelโ (1 Cor. 9:22); and โIf I proclaim the gospel, this gives me no ground for boasting, for an obligation is laid on me, and woe to me if I do not proclaim the gospelโ (1 Cor. 9:16)!
Moreover, the entire thrust of the Second Vatican Council was toward bringing the Light of Christ to the peoples of the world (Lumen Gentium). And this missionary รฉlan has given rise in the last few decades to the idea of a โnew evangelization,โ which is to say, a fresh declaration of the Lordship of Christ.
Quite obviously, no one thinks that this work of evangelization should be done in a brow-beating, overbearing, or disrespectful manner (proselytization), but for Godโs sake, letโs not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
If I really thought that the Church does not exist to bring people to Christ, then I would resign and get an honest job.

Yesterday in the parliamentary chamber, there were a number of reflections on Helen Haines following the horrific attack on her last week.
I was particularly struck by the differences in the addresses delivered by @AlboMP & @AngusTaylorMP, as Prime Minister & Leader of the Opposition respectively.
Iโve attached my assessment of both speeches, looking at their tone, focus, emotional appeal & underlying messages.
When it comes to leadership style, I prefer Taylorโs approach & the message he delivered.
"You will not break us. You will not silence us. You will not change us." ~ Angus Taylor 26.10.2026.
He asks Australians to reflect on what we stand for & what we must defend, which goes to the very heart of who we are as a nation. Our democratic institutions, our freedoms, our respect for differences, our sense of fairness & our willingness to stand together in difficult times are not simply things we should celebrate. They are values we have a responsibility to uphold.
And inherent in those values is how we treat one another. Civility, compassion & respect are not separate from defending our democracy. They are part of what makes it worth defending.
When we understand what we stand for, we also understand how we ought to behave.
But there is another dimension to statesmanship that I believe is equally important. The consistency between what a leader says & how that leader conducts themselves.
A speech can be beautifully written, compassionate & inspiring, but its message carries considerably greater weight when those principles are reflected in the speakerโs behaviour.
And that raises a worthwhile question that goes well beyond these two speeches:
Ultimately, statesmanship is not measured by the words delivered at the parliamentary despatch box alone. It is also measured by the conduct that precedes & follows them.
And that is a standard I believe Anthony Albanese, in particular, needs to reflect upon.
