Jackson Chourio is going to win the #WorldSeries MVP by only hitting singles. I’m sure that’s happened before. He has 7 hits now in the WS, all singles.

The @Angels completed one of the most extraordinary #WorldSeries comebacks OTD in 2002 … Trailing 3-2 in the series and down 5-0 in Game 6, the Halos would rally for 6 runs across 2 innings, going on to win the game 6-5! 😮 They also went on to win Game 7 to win their first World Series in franchise history.

Swing? Yes. Should we have some sort of replay system to review it? Yes. #WorldSeries

Don't get wrapped up in the doom and gloom put out there. A lockout is a pressure tactic, used before. Of course they aren't going to agree to anything before implementing it. I know how these negotiations work from the inside. Both sides want/need baseball played in 2027!

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and union head Bruce Meyer on Friday both made it seem virtually impossible that the sides could reach a status-quo extension of the current CBA to avoid the upcoming lockout. The idea hasn't even been discussed, Meyer said. nytimes.com/athletic/7718705…

Little chance of extending current labor deal to avoid painful lockout, say union, league

A lockout could be disastrous for the league and its players, but neither side considers the status quo a real option.

Not too many guys in baseball deserve a #WorldSeries ring more than Christian Yelich.

The best out come for #Angels prospect Juan Cespedes is Chandler Simpson. Which is cool, but how many Chandler Simpsons have there been?

The balance is analytics to get to the playoffs, then smart baseball in the playoffs. Gotta play the numbers game during 162.

There’s always a balance. If balance isn’t the approach they will fail.

I expect the #Angels to go full new school analytics now. Old school fans won’t be happy.

John Mozeliak said that the Angels will be hiring a full-time GM for the 2027 season. It won't be him. He said that process is still in its early stages. They haven't interviewed anyone yet. Mozeliak said the new manager would be hired after the GM.
