Thank you, @RaysBaseball
At the start of this season, the odds gave the Rays a 1% chance of reaching the World Series. This team didn’t listen to the naysayers and fought hard all season.
I moved to Tampa Bay in 2008, the same year this franchise made its first World Series run, and I have been a fan ever since. Over those years, I have watched this team overcome more than any fan base should have to endure: ownership decisions that left us scratching our heads, more than a decade of stadium talks that went nowhere, threats that the team would leave town, and Hurricane Milton tearing the roof off the Trop, leaving them without a home for a full season.
Through it all, the players kept showing up and playing with heart and a genuine love of the game. That is what makes this team so easy to love.
This year’s team was special. Every night felt like it could be the night something incredible happened, and so often, it was. Watching them prove many talking heads wrong, game after game, was exciting.
It just was not the Rays’ year. A damn good Brewers team earned it, and congratulations to them.
To the players, coaches and staff: thank you for a season this community will not forget, and for reminding all of us why we never stop believing in this team.
I will be there next spring. #RaysUp
3 to go! Believing this @raysbaseball team I have watched all year has it in them to get it done! BELIEVE! LET’S GO RAYS!

Yes, down 3-0 in the World Series.
Still believing!
Nothing is impossible if @RaysBaseball work together and get back to playing Rays baseball.
