🔹Kluczowych rozmowach z naszymi partnerami z konsorcjum @WECNuclear i @Bechtel oraz przedstawicielami @ENERGY na temat negocjowanego obecnie kontraktu EPC.
🔹Spotkaniu z @EximBankUS w sprawie udziału tej instytucji w finansowaniu naszego projektu. W spotkaniu wziął również udział Minister @Domanski_Andrz.
Dodatkowo rozmawialiśmy z @NEI zarówno na temat naszej inwestycji, jak i szerszego kontekstu rozwoju nowych projektów jądrowych w USA.

Premier @donaldtusk z wizytą na terenie lokalizacji pierwszej polskiej elektrowni jądrowej w gminie Choczewo.
Szef rządu odwiedził lokalizację Lubiatowo-Kopalino, gdzie realizowany jest projekt pierwszej polskiej elektrowni jądrowej. Wizyta obejmowała zapoznanie się z postępami prac oraz rozmowy z przedstawicielami Polskich Elektrowni Jądrowych, w tym z Przewodniczącym Rady Nadzorczej naszej spółki Witoldem Drożdżem oraz Wiceprezesem Zarządu Piotrem Pielą, a także z wójtem gminy Choczewo.
💬Prąd z pierwszej polskiej elektrowni jądrowej dostarczy energię do 12 milionów gospodarstw domowych - powiedział Premier Donald Tusk.
Jak podkreślił, realizacja tej inwestycji ma ogromne znaczenie dla bezpieczeństwa energetycznego kraju.

Yesterday Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania succesfully decoupled from Russian continental grid effectively entering an "island" mode of grid operation.
Today they succesfully synced with continental grid of the EU, ending one of the last remnants of former Soviet Union dominance in the region.

@opg finished the refurb on one of their nuclear reactors 5 months early.
This will renew the reactor for another 30 years (65 years total), playing into @energybants 's thesis that nuclear plants should be thought of as energy "cathedrals" which last generations.
"The 875-megawatt (MW) unit was taken offline for refurbishment in February 2022. Prior to this, Unit 1 ran for more than 1,000 days straight, setting a world record for continuous operation of a nuclear power reactor."

TVA approves $150M to continue design work and development of SMRs at its Clinch River site near Oak Ridge, Tenn. TVA already holds an early site permit from the NRC to build a plant on that site.
We are a clean energy leader, with nearly 60% of our electricity coming from carbon-free sources. Today, at its quarterly meeting, the Board of Directors invested in the region's clean energy future by approving $150 million in additional funding to support design work and development of potential small modular reactors at the Clinch River Site near Oak Ridge, TN.

In 1918, 1919 and 1920, the risk of a communist revolution was high in Europe.
Communists had briefly managed to take power in Hungary & made serious attempts in Finland & Germany.
France & Italy were also boiling.
The Soviet Red Army tried spreading the revolution to Germany by invading Poland.
They reached Warsaw, where they ran j to a brick wall on August 15th, 1920.
The next day, the Poles launched a counteroffensive routing the Soviets.
Europe was saved from communism.

Slovenia NPP Krško, co-owned with Croatia, produces about 1/3 of 🇸🇮 electricity. @IAEAorg already supports & is ready to increase efforts w/ potential JEK2 project. Pleased to welcome National Nuclear Programme Secretary @DanijelLevicar. Looking forward to visiting Slovenia soon.
