When we return next week, we’ll get 218 signatures for Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which guarantees a vote. Survivors will be able to get their own records, State Attorneys General can prosecute crimes, and we can take the DOJ to court for keeping critical files hidden.⚖️

Good start JD, but these were basically the core issues of campaign promises of 2024. 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Republicans lost yesterday because’24 campaign promises were not delivered, Trump called us panicans and me a traitor and you stayed silent and supported Trump while he failed, you all primaried Thomas Massie with millions from Israel, ignored rape victims of Epstein and company, and MAHA was ignored. Just to name a few issues. You should have listened to me and Tucker and others who told you early. Blaming the Iran war won’t work and it’s not going to be an easy pivot.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Hey @browsercompany, I just decided to give Dia another try since you're killing off Arc, which has been my daily driver for years now. It's close, but it still has way too many frustrations to be useful. Here's my top 3. 1. When you're in a google Meet meeting, you can't flip profiles. In arc a popout of the meeting and continue working in the background. Dia forces you to stay focused on the meeting and won't let you multitask. This alone is reason to abandon it. 2. You change titles on my "tabs" making them useless. What benefit are you giving me by changing my named tabs all into "Work Item Search - Jira"???? Come on. smh 3. New Tab going to AI is absolutely infuriating. It wouldn't be so bad if the AI was even close to good, but it's not. I just want to do my google search or open my website. Don't put me into an unwanted conversation with a gaslighting, hallucinating imbecile. I pay for AI with Grok, Anthropic, and ChatGPT. Every single one of them is lightyears ahead of whatever crap you're using. And Grok is already tightly integrated in all the ways you are trying to achieve and doing it at a much higher level.

Hey @bot I am really enjoying the integration in my @Tesla, but I have to keep grok open to hear a response after it's doing it's work. Also, I have some long running bots that notify me when it finds deals or other things I need to take advantage of right away. It would be amazing if you could activate grok in my tesla when I'm driving to let me know responses or other updates I've asked to be notified about. That would let me continue my media while I'm waiting for that reservation to be made. How about it @elonmusk ?

Fox News to Trump rally attendee: "Why are you here this morning?" Attendee: "Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front." Fox: "Okay. So maybe this is not a Trump supporter." 😂🤣😂🤣

Cursor is billing me thousands of dollars a month for charges they can't explain, unattributed to any of my teams members. Their AI help bot passed it off to a human 12 days ago and @cursor_ai has been dead silent since. @elonmusk @SpaceX @SpaceXSI please do something!

I now have three Grok @bot accounts. 1. A set of personal assistants managing my personal life. 2. A set of corporate assistants keeping my on track for my day job. 3. A set of agents and assistants nearly completely running my other non-day-job projects, including all customer support, sales management and identifying marketing opportunities. @elonmusk can just take my money.

For the record... Avoid @ACERentaCar at all costs if you actually want a car. Reservation for months and they give the car away because of a flight delay. No remorse. No apology. Just a good ole screw you. Of course by canceling my reservation they could rent it out at 10x the rate I had booked. First time booking with Ace. Never again.

If Kyle Wittingham goes back to Underwood next week, there will be a revolt in Ann Carrbor. @UMichFootball @BarstoolUofM @Michigan
Kyle Whittingham says he's not prepared to say Tommy Carr will be the starter moving forward. Needs to look at the film and evaluate what improved in the second half. #GoBlue
