These are the new ones coming. First class turns into a double bed, business gets doors for the first time. Still not certified for the A350 yet, so 2027 at the earliest. Current seat is already massive though.

SIA is about to make its already huge A350 business class seats even better.
Current SQ A350 business class is proper spacious. Full flat bed, room to move, feels bigger than most other airlines I’ve sat in. No doors, but the space is there.
They’re dropping more than S$2 billion (~$1.6B) across 72 aircraft... retrofitting 41 A350-900s and putting the new product on the 31 777-9s. Rollout from second half of 2027.
New business class gets sliding doors for the first time, full flat beds, and companion bed options on centre seats. First class centre pair becomes what SIA calls the largest double bed in commercial aviation.
Originally designed for the 777-9. Delays pushed it onto the A350s. Certification still pending for the A350 installs.
Doors sound good until you realise some people actually prefer the open, roomy feel of the current seat. And certification delays have already moved the timeline.
Is adding doors worth it if the current seat is already this spacious, or is privacy the real upgrade people want?

Thailand’s Attorney General Kowit Sripairoj has appointed nine working groups to advance legal reforms, enhance prosecution procedures, and better protect public rights and state interests.
Office of the Attorney General (OAG) Spokesperson and Director-General of Regional Public Prosecution Office 4 Prayut Phetkhun stated on November 6, 2026, that the initiative aims to ensure accurate, timely, fair, and consistent prosecutorial decisions and modernize the justice system.
The working groups will revise laws related to the prosecution service and its personnel, improve procedures for corruption and human trafficking cases, and review subordinate regulations under the Public Prosecutors Commission.
Additional responsibilities include developing regulations for managing funds from asset-sharing and international criminal cooperation, strengthening legal databases and research to support prosecutorial decisions, and reviewing Criminal Procedure Code provisions on prosecutorial powers.
Other priorities are improving judgment enforcement to protect state interests, modernizing personnel management, and revising criteria for awarding OAG honorary insignia.
Prayut stated that the working groups will develop legal and administrative proposals to improve organizational efficiency and strengthen professional standards.
Their recommendations and draft laws or regulations will be reviewed by the relevant authorities in line with established legal procedures.
The spokesperson said the initiative aims to enhance the administration of justice, protect citizens' rights and freedoms, and safeguard state interests, while adapting prosecutorial operations to changing economic, social, and technological conditions.

Why Emirates couldn't ignore the A350.
The Airbus A350-900 gives Emirates something its fleet was missing: a versatile, fuel-efficient widebody that fills the gap between the Boeing 777 and the giant A380.
With fewer seats than the 777-300ER, the A350 allows Emirates to serve routes that cannot justify a larger aircraft while opening up new markets.
It's quieter, more modern, more comfortable and burns significantly less fuel.

ANUTIN URGES CALM AFTER 72-HOUR EMERGENCY BAG ADVICE
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has urged the public to continue living normally and not panic after authorities advised households to prepare a 72-hour emergency survival bag.
The recommendation triggered concerns and reports of people stockpiling essential goods. Anutin stressed that Thailand faces no food shortage risk, describing the country as a major food producer with strong domestic supply chains.
He said the public should be prepared for emergencies—but there is no reason to panic or hoard supplies.

British Airways @British_Airways has resumed flights between London @HeathrowAirport and Dubai International Airport @DXB after an eight-month suspension caused by the conflict in the Middle East.
Flight BA105 departed London Heathrow at 8.08pm local time on Tuesday and arrived at Dubai International Airport at 7.33am local time on Wednesday.
The British flag carrier is initially operating one daily flight between the two cities during the winter, with plans to increase the frequency to twice daily in summer 2027. travelweekly.co.uk/news/ba-s…
