JOIN US AT AGNTCon + MCPCon in a few weeks!! It's going to be sick! I'll be giving a talk about how to measure and improve your agent experience beyond basic pass/fail evals. But there are a lot of other amazing speakers as well, come hang! Use OUTREACH25 code for a sweet discount events.linuxfoundation.org/a… @AgenticAIFdn

I don't hear or read "wicked smart" without thinking of Good Will Hunting in any context. So this is very meta to me now lol

They're working on how $250/night AirBnB listing equals $1,500 for a weekend first

You can now use @ChatGPT to subscribe to events from Netlify and apply your own ChatGPT-based automation to it! Let's talk about some cool use cases... Customers use Netlify Forms to automatically set up the storage for data submitted to their web form. Those customers can tell ChatGPT: "Every time a new customer signs up to my contact form, send them an email from @resend thanking them for being a part of our journey." That's rad! Deployments are sick too. It's pretty common for a sales team member to want to know the latest and greatest about our digital product. Now they can get that enablement themselves: "When the app is deployed, fetch the changelog pages and tell me what's changed each week in a way I can understand. Send that to me as a @SlackHQ summary" Boom, self-driven enablement for the team already in ChatGPT! Of course, if you wanted to use our webhooks directly you could build your own. But ChatGPT users can keep building in their ecosystem. This is a great improvement to agent experience, looking forward to seeing us do more with it! Shout out to @mxstbr @OpenAIDevs for getting this going!
One more launch today: the new MCP Events spec is now supported in ChatGPT 🎉 MCP servers can now push real-time updates (messages, comments, status changes, whatever) to ChatGPT, triggering automations for your users 🤯 It’s easy to add to your MCP server, too! Just point Codex at the docs and let it rip: developers.openai.com/plugin…

your agent can code, but it has zero taste. introducing flavors.design 🌸 a gallery of design vibes you copy into ANY agent and say "make my page look like this" ◈ browse real landing page vibes ◈ customize, remix, shuffle ◈ copy design md + shadcn + template 1/4

Qq Tobin, what about projects that are already MCP connectors and have this stuff already in the directory. Anything we should do to adjust things or are things good the way they are?

So I other words, if you said “I want the buttons text to be ‘thing’” it wouldn’t have picked it up without handling this case right? Trying to understand how far text parsing goes.

this started playing and I legit felt a panic creep in trying to figure out why I'm getting so many notifications

it had nothing to do with how hard it was and everything to do with controlling their own destiny in a way they think made the best strategic sense. It's true that not every agent works as well with the same context but beyond that, they want to do their own thing. Allowing support for both paths is definitely the way. I'll also say that, having been part of those conversations with agent builders in the early days of all of this trying to get these agents to standardize on _something_, zero of them wanted to be the first and they all had the same mindset. It's also worth noting that, the others were more incentivised to do it to support cross-compatibility so they can win over more folks. Claude code is still the dominant coding agent they didn't (and still don't) have that problem. Similar to how noone could get OpenAI to do anything driven by someone else. At some point, while it might be true that different context favors models differently, if there's no material proof over time then that justification falls over. So, rationale becoming weaker as the months roll on and tobi-level market pressure, it just makes no sense to hold back any more. But it was certainly a combination of things not simply technically hard or Tobi has the say

You can use it from Netlify AI Gateway today, just use their SDK on a serverless function and it should just work

Lots of agents already support this! They are deeplinks bespoke to them but it's pretty cool

we're on netlify!
TypeSafe's Jev answers typed questions about your program state instead of writing prose. You hand it the state and declare the answers you are willing to accept. A routing question can come back as sales, support, or spam and nothing else, which means you can branch on it directly without parsing anything. netlify.com/changelog/typesa…

I definitely think Jev is a mind shift for what we’ve thought about with models, this is my breakdown for how to use it

Here is the full walkthrough if you want to watch it work. A real support ticket goes in, and Jev comes back with the team that owns it, a frustration score, and a probability that it reads as urgent. The confidence value on each answer decides what gets handled automatically and what a person sees.
