The Cormac McCarthy biography, so far, is just OK (6 chapters in). My favorite thing about it is reading about how much of a pain in the ass Cormac was to his publishing house in his early days, disappearing for months on end, etc. He’s lucky to have lived when he did.

QAnon maintains it’s following by constantly declaring victory. When they are faced with a defeat they say it is a “trap” the enemy had stumbled into and will soon be destroyed by it. In doing so they turn defeat into a form of victory that allows the movement to keep believing.
