How to position yourself for Monad Mainnet & the life-changing era after it: 1. Get Nads Roles on Discord Easily the hardest step. 676k+ members fighting for attention. Downside: too crowded. You might get lost. Upside: if you make it? You’re sitting front row for generational rewards. 2. Bull-post on Twitter This is your leverage. Post consistently. Even mid takes go far if you believe them. Illusory truth effect is real; say it enough times, they believe it. Great for small & big creators alike. 3. Grind WL for Monad NFT Projects Not just for jpegs, this can give you liquidity. Downside: the NFT might flop & you’re back to square one. Upside: it mints well? That’s your seed fund to double down on Monad. 4. Begging KOLs for follows/alpha? Let’s be real. This does more harm than good. It’s draining. It’s noisy. And often, they’re just winging it too. 5. Spamming testnet txns for the $10M airdrop Some are doing 10k+ txns with hope to eat good. Can’t blame them, but I wouldn’t put all my energy there either. TL;DR No shortcuts. No single “best” route. But if you mix 1-3 well, stay consistent, and keep building in public, You’re setting yourself up for a very loud mainnet.

Noticing a common CLOB misconception. Perp CLOBs ≠ spot CLOBs Perps are THE apex predator of smart contracts (80% of all crypto volume is perps), and onchain perp CLOBs are still mostly unsolved. The reason is simple. It's an insanely complex problem to solve. You need: - high speed, gas budget - granular price buckets - fully onchain execution - transparency and verifiability Not all CLOBs are created equal.
Replying to @chainyoda
It’s the apex predator of smart contracts

What are CLOBs? Imagine a Flea Market for Crypto Think of a CLOB (Central Limit Order Book) as a giant, organized, digital flea market for a specific cryptocurrency, let's say "CryptoCoin". In this market, you have two groups of people: The Buyers: They are all standing on one side, shouting out the highest price they are willing to pay for one CryptoCoin. The Sellers: They are on the opposite side, shouting out the lowest price they are willing to sell their CryptoCoin for. This entire market is organized on a big, public notice board - the Order Book On the notice board it displays Alex wants to buy at $99 Ben wants to buy at $98 Chloe wants to buy at $97 while Sarah wants to sell at $101 Uma wants to sell at $103 Tom wants to sell at $102 Now, let's break down what's happening: Price is King: The buyers offering the highest price (Alex at $99) are first in line. The sellers asking for the lowest price (Sarah at $101) are also first in line on their side. No Deal... Yet: Right now, no trades are happening. Why? Because the highest a buyer is willing to pay ($99) is still lower than the lowest a seller is willing to accept ($101). This difference is called the "spread". How a Trade Happens A trade happens when one of two things occurs: A Buyer Gets Impatient: You walk into the market and really want a CryptoCoin right now. You look at the board and see Sarah is selling for $101. You agree to her price. BAM! A trade happens. You buy her CryptoCoin for $101. Sarah's order is now gone from the board. A Seller Needs to Sell Fast: A new seller, David, rushes in. He needs cash immediately and is willing to sell his CryptoCoin for $99. He shouts, "Selling one CryptoCoinfor $99!" BAM! The system instantly matches him with Alex, who was already waiting to buy at $99. That trade is made. Alex and David's orders are removed from the board. Why Does This Matter to a Crypto? It's Transparent: The CLOB shows you exactly what other people are willing to buy and sell for. You can see the real-time supply and demand. You Have Control: You don't have to accept the current price. You can place your own order on the board (like Ben or Chloe) and wait for the price to come to you. This is called a limit order. It Affects Your Price: If you want to buy or sell instantly (a market order), you have to accept the best price currently available on the other side of the board. For very popular coins like Bitcoin, there are millions of buyers and sellers, so the gap between buying and selling prices is usually tiny (just pennies). In a nutshell, a CLOB is just an organized list of all the "I want to buy" and "I want to sell" orders for a cryptocurrency. It's the system that matches these orders together to make trades happen, just like in a busy, well-organized market. Thanks @0x_yash21 reading your articles made write this. If there are any errors please correct me. The post got too long. I will write another on how Exchanges on Monad are fundamentally redefining what a decentralized Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) can be

do you realise how important onchain perp CLOBs are for DeFi? perps: - 70% of all crypto volume - 90% of that still happening on CEXes the most successful crypto product is coming on chain that's why every chain is pivoting to position for CLOBs and that's why Perpl

monad is the next bitcoin/ethereum/solana i do think like that from a technical perspective blockchains are multiple computers running a computer program that communicates with other computers on bitcoin this computer program accepts bitcoin transfers and that keeps things simple on @ethereum this computer program accepts ethereum transfers and calling blockchain programs (contracts) this allows you to complicate things, make calculations and save them but it is developed in a way that was good enough in 2014 to make a $18m ico there are a lot of serious criticisms about the design of ethereum, evm and the language solidity because it is such a naive implementation compared to its web2 counterparts this led to the creation of @solana, silicon valley engineers designed a novel blockchain without ethereum’s pitfalls but because it was too much work and they launched it early while it was still called beta, this computer program had a lot of bugs too they were not security critical bugs but some of them crashed the computer program, causing solana to stop on ethereum there are multiple implementations of that computer program so if one implementation has a bug, ethereum doesn’t stop, unless the same bug exists in other implementations too which is very unlikely to happen on solana to fix this, there are more implementations being developed such as firedancer(c) and sig(zig) solana implementations but they both are still in heavy development now let me talk about @monad_xyz ethereum, even though it has some good implementations like erigon and reth, is still far behind solana solana gets more stable and ethereum is pushing ethereum people to use centralized secondary networks this causes people who are not ethereum bag holders or heavily invested in ethereum ecosystem to go to solana but even though solana got way bigger since 2024 after ftx crash, way more users and many dapps, crypto is still mainly ethereum because it was the first chain to bring blockchain programs(contracts) to general crypto the majority of the industry is built on top of ethereum, all the tools, dapps and utilities so keone, james and eunice in 2022 decided to develop a new ethereum implementation they decided to to act like ethereum for all the dapps and tools, but inside it would be super optimized imagine u have a card deck, and u need to find a card based on the number and color if u look at each card one by one it would take 52 seconds in the worst case but if u split the deck into 4 smaller decks, sort them by numbers and use binary search then u just have to choose the small deck based on the color, start from the middle, split it and continue with one part and repeat with this approach it would take 4 seconds in the worst case and it is 13x faster than the first approach monad is this faster approach, with the same computers u can handle 1000 times more users it took them 3 years to build a stable enough implementation of monad but they didn’t instantly launch it, because if there are some bugs that can crash the computer, monad would stop like solana did so they are trying to find all the bugs and fix them during the recently launched testnet also monad labs seperated into two parts, monad foundation and @category_xyz labs keone and james wants monad to be an open standard like ethereum not tied to a labs, compared to solana, sui, bsc, etc. they want category labs to be one of the labs developing a monad implementation, along with other labs developing other implementations if monad was just used as an ethereum implementation, because other implementations are 1000 times slower, it wouldn’t change anything so keone and james decided not to favor ethereum bag holders, but started a new blockchain network without tech debt every dapp, wallet and tool on ethereum can also exist on monad without any efforts by their teams in a day and if u modify monad, u can make a million tps l2 easily thx

i want to help people interact more with the monad ecosystem! i know how frustrating it can be to get only 0.1 MON from who knows what faucet i know that you want to do more transactions and test more dapps that’s why, as monad ambassador, i am putting 150 MON on the line, that i want to split equally among 30 users who REALLY need it to have some for gas fees and other interactions leave a comm, dm me or tag someone who needs a few extra MON and i will be the faucet please, help me spread the word and let’s work together to onboard more users in this beautiful ecosystem 💜 i know it may not be much, but for me personally, 2 months ago, 5 MON would’ve made a huge difference

The Monad testnet is live! This is A huge milestone for the monad team and everyone who helped make it happen. Congrats 💜 Spiky Nads has been building for nearly a year and now it’s time to accelerate. We have lots of exciting testnet plans coming soon, so stay tuned. Have fun exploring the purple eco on-chain but remember: This is a testnet, but you can still get drained. Connect with a fresh wallet not linked to real funds, and always double-check links. Spiky Nads will never drop a surprise mint. Only trust official sources. We will announce testnet activities in advance for verification. Stay safe, stay Spiky and happy testing!
