I am what they call a “lucky person.” For example, at my 2019 work holiday party I won free movies at AMC for all of 2020.

For editors who are truly qualified: know that if ur brought on you’ll likely go through 2 trial videos first at $500 per vid. At first you might think “alright fine it’s a good opportunity I’ll suck it up.” But you’ll end up doing an intensive month or more of work for only $1k … just to be considered for the actual job. I don’t know a lot of people who can swing this so just FYI.
I’m on this comedy show for parents tomorrow 5pm at The Crow in Santa Monica and yes you can bring your own baby. Also, a life update: I’m pregnant and it’s a girl!

Everybody’s in agreement that January has been too long. Yet, somehow life is still too short? So. I’m trying to enjoy life going by slowly right now. Happy January 42nd. Hopefully February is even longer.

Community based work can help stave this off. It differs from city to city, but free food programs, boys and girls clubs, animal shelters, community gardens, library story hours - all of these are ways to put yourself into the world and get a good feeling back.
Took this from my roof thru binoculars last night. 💔 I’d like to get back to regularly scheduled programming (spying on my neighbors)
All my love to LA. Stay safe, stay vigilant.
When you perform in Vegas nobody warns you about how quickly you become addicted to seeing your face in lights on the roof. Unfortunately, I'm hooked.
