How unhappy and bitter would you have to be to think that beneficiaries should be drug tested.
Sitting there with your rum and coke being all miserable that some beneficiary is getting high on your dime.
Move on with your life.

Over the past year Rogers has ended almost a century of Hockey Night in Canada, cancelled Hockey Night in Punjabi, failed to renew Jenn Botteril, made Monday games subscription-based, and ended LeafsTalk. Late stage hockey broadcasting capitalism.

Don't be Mario.
Mario and his family came into Canada illegally.
Mario has tons of businesses but cries poor.
Mario lives in a big expensive home but pretends he suffers under a liberal government.
Mario makes money off grifting online.
Mario supports the US and their pedophile president.
Mario lies daily. Mario omits information to twist narratives.
Don't trust Mario.

Chapman's Ice Cream has just done something EVERY Canadian should know.
The largest ice cream company in Canada used to source fruit and nuts from American suppliers — for some, for over 30 years. Then, Trump imposed a 25% tariff on Canadian products.
So, what did Chapman's do?
📷 They called Italy.
📷 They called Spain.
📷 They signed multi-year contracts with European suppliers.
And the vice president said it perfectly:
"Even if Trump wakes up smarter than yesterday, we're about to sign long-term deals with other countries — and the American companies that supply them will have nothing but their eyes to cry for."
Oh, and on top of ALL that? They're COLDing their prices so that the average Canadian doesn't have to spend a single cent more.
It's a family business. No shareholders. Just the Chapman family saying: "The least we can do is make sure Canadians still have the means to buy ice cream."
That's what Canadian pride looks like.
Next time you're at the grocery store — grab some Chapman's.
Every scoop of ice cream is a vote for Canada.

I don't want to “download the app” to pay for parking. I don't want to “create an account” to see a menu. I don't want to “provide feedback” on a 30-second interaction. I just want to exist in the physical world without a digital leash

It’s 2026, why are we starting a pretend order just to see a restaurant’s menu online?

One of the worst weeks of baseball in recent memory.
1-6 at home against just-OK teams you’re fighting with in a playoff race. Down in the 1st inning in every game. Vlad where he is.
Not close to where they’re supposed to be right now.

If you ever doubt how magical this world is, one day you will decide to go to a World Cup watch party in Oakland that you found online to root for a country where you spent two years trying to coax English out of the mouths of Cape Verdean teenagers. 1/7

How many events will it take for Pierre Poilievre and his base to understand that his leadership is sole reason why he lost his long-term riding (since 2004), made 4 long-term conservative MPs want to cross the floor, lose a 27-point lead and ultimately failed to form govt again?

I love this trick from baby boomers. Make things insanely unaffordable and do not raise workers’ wages. Then, complain that young people spend too much money on frivolous activities like eating lunch.
