The awful comments hurt my heart. Yes she was young (the average age of Battle of Britain pilots was 20), but she kept her composure and communicated while banked 60 degrees, nose down, falling 20,000 ft in a 100 seconds. Only at the end did she lose it. Who wouldn't? Be kind 🥺

Annoyed by the long lines voting in Alabama tomorrow? That's by design. You are a victim of voter suppression.
Alabama is 1 of only 3 states with NO early voting. The people in power don't want max turnout, because if everyone votes, they lose.

A Walmart employee told me she works 29 hours a week, capped on purpose, so her employer doesn't have to give her benefits under the 30 hour threshold.
She makes $16 an hour, which comes out to about $2,010 a month before taxes.
Her rent is $1,400.
We have decided as a society that this is her problem and not ours, and I think about every time someone tells me to just tip more.

Over my nearly three decades in the Army, the biggest career killer I’ve seen is alcohol.
One of my best got caught up in an alcohol-related incident this weekend and has a lot to lose.
Unfortunately, he is now in a non-negotiable situation and going to get crushed.
I’m not against having a good time and drinking, but the earlier in life you figure out that drinking is like walking a tightrope, the better off you’ll be.
