My brutally honest advice to someone who wants to make a lot of money.
3 things nobody told you:
1. The only way to make a lot of money is to create a lot of value.
No one hands out money. No one is going to pay you just because they like you or think you're cool.
Money earned is a direct byproduct of value created.
The only way to get rich is to create an enormous amount of value for others, and capture a small portion of that along the way.
You create value by doing three things:
- Identify problems
- Create solutions
- Scale those solutions
It's not talking about the thing, it's not brainstorming about the thing, it's not asking about the thing, it's not thinking about the thing. The only way to create value is by doing the thing.
And if you don't know where to start, look around you. Customers, colleagues, bosses, shareholders, employees. Every single one of them has a problem.
What problems can you solve for the people around you?
Figure them out, solve them, scale that solution.
That's how you make money.
2. You don't need passion, you need energy.
I still have no idea what it means to follow your passion.
You don't have to be passionate about your professional pursuits, you just need to find energy in them. You just need to feel a pull towards them. You just need to feel that spark of curiosity in them.
Passion is usually a byproduct of energy.
When you have energy for something, you'll give it your deep attention to learn more.
You’ll ask the right questions. You’ll figure it out. You’ll win.
Follow your energy. Pursue interesting puzzles. Solve them.
3. You have to demonstrate excellence in everything you do.
Your income scales proportional to the amount of excellence that you're able to demonstrate.
Strategic incompetence is a lie. You don't get to pick and choose when to show up, because the world will ignore your best and judge you for your worst. Everything matters. Every single thing.
Top performers show up with energy and enthusiasm for the little things just as much as they do for the big things.
If you're in the top-10% of performers, there's no ceiling for what you can do. But the self-awareness to identify where you currently stack up, and adapt to the honest feedback on it, is very rare.
If you're in the top-10%, you know it. If you're not, figure out why and fix it.

This is why you need to be doing your barbell rows, Anon. You need to be able to rescue any noble creature you might come upon. Imagine having to look this creature in the eye and concede that you aren’t strong enough to pull him out. Unthinkable!

One of Letitia James’s employees sent an email to express his concerns about how she had directed her office to pursue targets for political purposes instead of focusing on public safety issues like fraud in the homeless shelter industry and antisemitic hate crimes. She fired him, deleted the email, and released his personnel file to intimidate him.
Ten million people have watched a comedian accidentally destroy the entire TED talk industry.
He filmed the talk once at TEDxNewYork in 2014 and openly admitted he had nothing to say.
Speaking coaches charge $5,000 to teach the exact tricks he used in 6 minutes to say nothing at all.
His name is Will Stephen. He is a comedian from Late Night with Seth Meyers who was invited to give a real TED talk and used it to prove the format is a costume anyone can wear.
Every TED speaker opens with a question, tells a personal story, cites a scientist, and shows a chart. Stephen did all four in six minutes with zero content.
His entire formula fits on a napkin.
Gesture with both hands. Ask the audience a question anyone can answer. Tell a mildly embarrassing story so they say aww. Point to a stranger on a slide and call them important. Flash a chart of random numbers. Wear glasses with no lenses. The audience will think you are brilliant.
That last trick alone has probably cost the public speaking coaching industry a hundred million dollars in sessions clients should have skipped.
"If you watched me on YouTube with the sound off, you would think I was a genius."
That is Will Stephen on the TED stage, three minutes into the talk he was paid to give. He wasn't lying.
Executives pay $15,000 for a keynote coach and still open with a joke the room never laughs at. Founders rehearse their pitch for weeks and still sound like Stephen at minute four, saying "wagga wah, gabba gabba" with authority.
The talk is free on YouTube. The method is written across every TED speaker's playbook for ten years.
Stephen still writes for Seth Meyers. Almost none of the ten million viewers have stopped nodding at empty slides since.
The formula is free. The willingness to actually say something before your next keynote, pitch, or townhall is the entire edge.
Something JB Pritzker has not been able to do 🤔 ...
There was a decision to be as confrontational with Trump as possible and people in Illinois got hurt.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced on Saturday that following a phone call with President Trump, the president agreed to "immediately" grant a visa to the Ghanaian mother of a teenage boy who was shot and killed on his way to school Thursday morning in the Bronx.
"Javits Frimpong's mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person," Mamdani wrote on X.

From Marcus Aurelius: Ryan, the raised finger reveals more about the soul that lifts it than the sign it targets. Political contests and the judgments of others lie outside your command. Guard the citadel of your mind. Choose justice and temperance over the brief heat of contempt. Externals cannot harm you unless you assent.

Before Hollywood, I was living in a van in Hawaii and waiting tables at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. One day, the incredible Rae Dawn Chong walked into the restaurant, and naturally, I went up to her table and said, “Hey, you’re a movie star! What are you doing here?”
She asked if I could act, and I said, “Fuck yeah, put me in your movie!”
She asked for my phone number. The only problem was I didn’t have one. So I gave her my buddy Mike’s number instead. A couple days later, Mike casually mentions, “Oh, by the way, someone called you.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME, MIKE?!
I called her back, and sure enough, she was serious. I drove over to pick up the script, went back to Mike’s house, and read all 120 pages three times in a row. First script I’d ever read. My character's name was Devon, and I remember thinking, “Sweet! I could totally play a Devon!”
I showed up to the audition with every line and inflection mapped out in pencil. Rae told me I could act and offered me the part. I asked if we were shooting in Hawaii. Nope. Los Angeles.
I had about $60 to my name, a bag of clothes, and some rollerblades.
Then Rae told me they'd fly me out. And I remember thinking right then and there, my life just changed forever. I'm going to be an actor.
That little movie was Cursed Part 3, a low-budget horror comedy that opened the door to Hollywood for me.
I'll forever be grateful to Rae for taking a chance on a kid working at a shrimp restaurant. Everybody starts somewhere, and this is where it all began for me.

Guys, I beg you to start being the person you wish to be. This study found that just 5 minutes a day of imagining your best possible self, for two weeks, made people noticeably more optimistic about their future. Picture who you want to be, then go act like them today.

If you don’t believe Jesus is God or you don’t believe in God at all then I completely understand that.
BUT there’s a cradle Hindu who became a Christian based on the historical evidence and he’s doing a talk about why this Friday in SF. You should come see.
This Friday, I’ll be giving a talk on the historical case for the resurrection of Christ.
Several years ago, I began looking into the historical evidence as an atheist to prove that Christianity was nothing but a therapeutic superstition. What I found completely changed my life.
Over the course of a year, I spent nearly every waking moment reading whatever I could find on the subject. My entire life was suddenly reorganized around answering this one question: did Jesus Christ actually rise from the dead?
There was a time when I thought this question was too ridiculous to even consider. But looking back, it was by far the most important question I've ever asked.

how to actually deploy this stack 101, including everything:
dosage, cycle, timing
PINEALON: 1-2 mg oral capsule daily, morning on empty stomach.
initial cycle 1 month daily, then take 2+ months off (effects will stay).
after this initial cycle, you can trust your gut. either hop back on a systematic cycle or dose at need/ when desired.
EPITALON: 3-6 mg oral capsule daily, evening 1-2h before bed.
cycling same as pinealon.
BROMANTANE: 60 mg sublingual or oral capsule daily, morning on empty stomach.
1 month on followed by 6 weeks off (effects will stay).
MODAFINIL: 200 mg oral capsule daily, morning on an empty stomach.
5 days on, 2 days off - 1 full week off each quarter. you can dose daily during high-stress periods (i dosed daily for 3 months without building a tolerance). replenish choline by supplementing 250 mg citicoline daily, with the modafinil.
first time you dose modafinil and bromantane, start at 25/50% of the recommended dose and work your way up to find your ideal dose. pinealon + epitalon start at 1 capsule, then you can try 2.

not medical advice.
this is what we call the "illuminati stack" for pure performance + recovery + longevity
the mystical elite that no one really knows anything about apart from them wanting you to be a slave DO NOT want you to know this (you would be too powerful and healthy):
→ bromantane: builds dopamine capacity (tyrosine hydroxylase upregulation), sustainable focus, no reserve depletion, gene expression changes, clean energy
→ pinealon: deep sleep architecture, neuroprotection, zero brain fog, REM enhancement, calm daily focus
→ epitalon: circadian reset, melatonin restoration, consistent wake times, telomere extension, cellular longevity
→ modafinil: acute wakefulness, sharp focus, executive function, dopamine + norepinephrine boost, cuts through fatigue
the synergy is beautiful
bromantane builds the dopamine foundation, epitalon and pinealon ensure you recover fully overnight, and modafinil delivers the relentless focus and energy on top of the baseline optimization of other compounds.
i run this daily except moda only 4-5 days/ week.

5. Eat by "hara hachi bu" stop at 80% full.
Not restriction, just a gentle pause before the plate is empty. After 35 your body punishes excess and rewards restraint. Eat a little lighter, and your energy stops crashing through every single afternoon.
