Everyone wants to weigh in with their Most Astute Take™ on the midterms.
But no one wants to even factor in the glaringly obvious: the US has been under the most sustained information attack by foreign states in decades, if not generations.
Foreign adversaries have learned to weaponize the very protections and safeguards – First Amendment, Section 230, privacy laws – that make discourse online possible. They use our shield as their weapon.
These actors have learned that they don't need to "hack Facebook" — as the press claimed Russia did in 2016. (In fact, that had no measurable impact.) They found that they don't need to infiltrate voting systems.
Instead, they have learned to focus on seeding poisonous narratives into virtually every open information system online. It's not only effective, but it's remarkably efficient.
The influence happens in various ways:
1. Bot manipulation – Accounts/shows that see enormous engagement surges on particular issues are motivated to double down on the messaging that the bot swarms respond to.
2. Direct incentives – Money and influence. This comes in the form of corporate financing, advertising deals materially larger than their market value. (Did Hasan Piker go to China just for kicks?)
3. Information poisoning – Bringing fringe narratives into the mainstream by seeding them into open, trusted platforms (e.g. Wikipedia).
4. Discourse radicalization – Actors tied to foreign adversarial states pull the discourse further to the fringe. There is no accountability mechanism, so these actors are free to not just say, but endlessly repeat, the most extreme, toxic, and false claims.
5. Network building – As one example: the Singham Network can build, fund, and run ideological networks with alarming success rates.
These are broad categories; they break down into thousands of smaller tactics.
Further, they innovate. Foreign adversaries have an ability to test and experiment, since state budgets are virtually unlimited relative to the cost.
Even more damagingly, there is almost no mainstream journalistic reporting on, or investigation into, malign influence by foreign actors in information spaces.
Can we name a single public investigation into information operations by US adversaries like China in recent months?
(It's as if, after a decade of "Russia, Russia, Russia," the press simply forgot this is a thing.)
Even in the rare cases where we catch and expose these activities, there is almost never consequences:
Example 1 - Recall the right-wing influencer taking $10m per year from the Russian government, whose posts seemed design to sowed division? Far from consequences, this individual was entirely let off the hook and even invited back into the country.
Example 2 – Al Jazeera's digital network, AJ+, was ordered by DOJ to register as a foreign agent – and simply ignored the order. Were they shut down? Did their operation even slow down?
Example 3 – Chinese operatives work in plain site on social platforms, disclosing their affiliations while dragging the discourse into the anti-American fringe.
Example 4 – The CCP-linked Singham Network, which funds groups like Code Pink, was exposed in recent months and still functions seamlessly.
Example 5 – Influencers and podcasters traveled to Cuba, apparently coordinating with the Cuban government, and are caught doing so. Have any one of them ceased or even decreased their activities?
WHAT REALLY MATTERS
This is the core imbalance: autocratic states running these operations have no – literally zero – checks on their capabilities:
+ They face no domestic journalistic investigation.
+ There is no Oversight Committee demanding answers.
+ There is no FOIA process to produce information.
+ There is no consequence in rare cases of exposure.
Total freedom to maneuver on the information battlefield.
We think, naively, that because these platforms are owned by US companies and regulated by American bodies that they are "ours."
Nothing could be further from the truth.

Why is Pakistan’s legitimacy never questioned but Israel’s is? They were created around the same time under the same circumstances.
7,000,000 Hindus were displaced. The “Nakhba” was 700,000 but Palestinians won’t shut up about it.

Jewish Democrats are hopeful today that with U.S. funding to Israel ending and AIPAC politically diminished and no longer funding candidates, the hatred will stop.
Here in Canada we have no AIPAC equivalent, and our funding to Israel is insignificant.
The hatred is worse.

What’s happening in Michigan is the Democrat Party’s trial run for the full replacement of Jews with Muslims in their coalition. They’ll continue to mumble nonsense about a ‘big tent,’ but they’re very aware the two groups will not coexist in the party. If Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed wins Michigan, proving it’s possible to win without Jewish support, with hostile anti-Jewish politics, this strategy will go national.
This is something I've seen as well. I posted last cycle about how Jews were getting fed up, this cycle I'm seeing it even worse.
From some of those I work with to bundle and contribute they will not give to Democrats this cycle – at all.
These are people who had *worked* for the Democratic party or apparatus at one point, as well. They were very loyal Democrats, they're voting Republican and contributing to Republicans this cycle.

Jon Stewart makes fun of Haley Stevens' fiancé's appearance.
Her fiancé, Jason Turkish, is legally blind.
This isn't comedy. It's bullying. And it’s disgusting.
This is the only version of "Free Palestine" that makes sense.
Jordan was carved from 75% of the Mandate of Palestine, has four times the landmass of Israel and is four times less densely populated. Why are they fighting over the scraps?
Jordan should be given a choice.
Take the people back that were once Jordanian citizens until 1988 and keep the water, or don’t take them and the water stops.
If Jordan wants the water to keep flowing, it accepts the people it once claimed as its own citizens and moves them inside its own borders. Immediately. If it refuses, the water stops, and the rest of the Arab world can figure it out and pay for it all. No more free supply while Jordan continues to attack Israel politically and tolerate the environment that produces terror. The Hashemite royals wouldn’t exist today if it wasn’t for Israel saving their asses in 1970 when Arafat waged a coup. We should remind the king of that. Jordan wouldn’t exist had the British not lied and given our land to them secretly in 1922. Let the British pay for their water.
Jordan walked away from those people in 1988 when it revoked their citizenship. THEY ARE ALL JORDANIANS. It doesn’t get to keep the water benefits of the peace treaty while treating the treaty as optional and using its population as an excuse for endless hostility. We don’t owe Jordan anything. The arrangement was reciprocal. The reciprocity is gone.
Water or the people. Decide.

Here’s the real story :
The U.S. will stop sending aid to Israel but will end up paying Israel $ Billions for tech and combat testing while Israel expands its manufacturing and exports. Bank of Israel already forecasts 5.6% GDP growth for 2026 (3.4% excluding overseas production), with records in FDI and defense exports.

This paper answers why confident idiots run the world.
Cornell University published a psychological paper that explains every terrible boss, every loud influencer, and every broken corporate hierarchy.
It’s called “Unskilled and Unaware of It.”
they tested participants across logic, grammar, and humor to measure the gap between actual performance and self-perception.
And the results are wild.
participants scoring in the bottom 12th percentile consistently believed they were operating in the 62nd percentile.
they were not lying. they were literally incapable of recognizing their own incompetence.
the paper revealed a brutal paradox:
the exact skills required to master a domain are the exact same skills required to accurately evaluate your own competence in that domain.
if you lack the skill, you inherently lack the cognitive capacity to realize you are failing.
this creates a dangerous systemic loop.
the incompetent are blessed with absolute, blinding certainty. their brain protects them from their own ignorance, allowing them to speak first, demand authority, and never second-guess their decisions.
meanwhile, the actual experts suffer the exact inverse.
top performers in the study consistently underestimated their rank. because a task was easy for them, they falsely assumed it was easy for everyone else.
they hesitate. they obsess over nuance. they assume they have nothing unique to add.
we are biologically wired to confuse confidence with competence.
the loudest person in the room gets promoted, gets funded, and gets the microphone, not because they know what they are doing, but because they are physically incapable of seeing what they don't.
the only defense mechanism is building systems that stop rewarding absolute certainty and start demanding proof of work.

Saudi Arabia and Turkey have some of the world's highest proportion of their population living in modern slavery:
Saudi Arabia - 21.3 per 1,000 people. Exploitation is driven by the kafala (sponsorship) system, which restricts migrant workers' freedom of movement and legal rights.
Turkey - 15.6 per 1,000 people. Driven by a large influx of vulnerable refugees alongside geopolitical and economic instability, leading to severe labour exploitation.
Good, we can stop calling it aid, which it isn't. The US can start paying Israel for intelligence sharing, live testing data and technological advancements on weapons it purchases from us. In reality, it's worth far more than the supposed "aid" we were giving for all of this.
BREAKING: President Trump says the U.S. will end roughly $4 billion in annual aid to Israel by the end of the year, revealing that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to the decision.
“Because they don’t need it,” Trump said during an exclusive interview on @foxandfriends, describing Israel as a thriving country that no longer requires American financial assistance.
Trump also said Netanyahu raised the idea of ending the aid himself. He emphasized that Israel remains one of America’s most reliable allies as the two countries prepare for a major shift in their financial relationship.

I have refused to talk about Sarah. She was the last person within this orbit I communicated with after I departed from the campaign, and I do actually like her. Wives are off limits generally, and I know she is just being supportive, but she is lying here.
Between this and Abdul giving Instagram advice to young men on how to treat women, I have to say something I’ve held off on mostly.
Abdul’s mistreatment of staff was what first me woke up to him, and pulled my rose colored glasses off. In particular one person was emotionally/mentally abused to the point their parents had to check them into the hospital. I made an effort to check in on this person daily just to make sure they ate and actually slept. Most days they didn’t. This moved me to the area of concern of this person potentially committing self harm, to which I called DC general council (Max Glass) leadership and told him that he needed to tell Abdul to back off. This person would break down in tears often, and once in front of Abdul at a breakfast in Dearborn. To which he reacted detached and even annoyed.
This framing of this honest principled caretaker of a man is a lie. I have witnessed him blame his wife for things he’s done, express interest in cheating on her, abuse staff, lie to one group of voters and then the next, and so much more. Abdul would and did do just about anything to win.
My closing point still stands, as my opening project since I felt the duty to warn. Even if you take away the national security concerns. Abdul is a manufactured man, and if he wins (I expect benson to carry him over the line), there will be plenty of stories out of that senate office to confirm this.
Sarah Jukaku, physician and wife of Abdul El-Sayed, speaks on what her husband is like outside of the limelight:
With Abdul, what you see is what you get. Abdul is the same to me and my daughters as he is to you. He says the same things no matter where is and no matter who he’s talking to because he believes and means those things. And that’s what makes him such an unusual politician, no corporation, no billionaire, no special interest, no one tells him what to do or what to say—except maybe me sometimes.

Yesterday the NYT published a list of what was alleged to be over 500 Michigan “Jewish leaders” supporting El-Sayed. The point of doing so was to paint a narrative that he has strong Jewish support in MI.
But did the NYT do any vetting to the list?
A quick skim and you notice it includes names like “Jack Mehoff”. I happen to know that one of the names is someone deceased. A majority of the signatories don’t even use their full names, just a last initial, so it’s impossible to confirm these are even real people or Jewish.
Why would they publish a story about a completely unreliable list with random names on a google sheet? Because the point was the narrative.

One of the issues with resolving this conflict is that the Arab world simply does not acknowledge the European "rules" of warfare, such as surrendering and accepting loss of territory when losing an offensive war. Germany lost 25% of its territory to Poland after WWII. We don't call that "occupied Germany."
Further, an unspoken truth is that Jews were perceived as a weak pushover race, and Arab Muslims felt deep humiliation at consistently losing to them in wars, believing that Muslims should be dominant and unchallenged in the region. Many see defeating Israel as necessary for redemption of their people.

We came to America because we ran away from the inferior ideas that destroyed our countries, kept them stagnant, and prevented them from progressing.
The majority of us who came to America from the Third World do not realize that the ideas we brought with us are the reasons our countries failed, while the superior ideas of the West are behind its prosperity and progress.
When you vote someone into public office, you are voting for the values they hold.
Abdul holds the same values that destroyed Egypt and caused his parents to flee to America, while Rogers holds the values that built America and made it attractive to Abdul’s parents in the first place.
Don’t vote for Abdul’s values. Vote for Rogers’s values.
