51% of Jewish teachers - many of them NEU members - experienced antisemitism in school in the past year.
Fixing this starts with defining the problem. IHRA spotlights the insidious and often subtle nature of antisemitism. It doesn't stifle criticism of the government of Israel.

Antisemitism has no place in our schools, colleges or society.
We accept all 27 recommendations from Sir David Bellās review. We will equip schools and colleges to identify and challenge antisemitism, strengthen Holocaust education and help every young person learn in safety.
This statement shows the NEUās inability to grasp the problem of antisemitism in our schools.
Is it any wonder Jewish teachers and students have lost faith in the NEU?

Antisemitism is shamefully rising across the globe, and it's going to take all of us to tackle it.
Yesterday I met leaders from the J7 to discuss this unique hatred targeting Jewish communities and to learn from each other's experiences and approaches.
By listening, learning and sharing what works, we can strengthen our response to antisemitism and help ensure Jewish people in our communities can live safely and confidently.
At PMQs, Prime Minister @andyburnham told the House of Commons that he condemns the Green Partyās āZionism is Racismā motion as antisemitic.
Burnham also said that the Labour Party cannot support a partnership with a party that holds an antisemitic position.

Today, with colleagues, I have written to Sussex police about potential antisemitic offences being committed at the Green Party conference in Brighton.
And to the EHRC seeking an investigation into potential breaches of the equality act.
I will update you when I hear back. This is important for our great country.
Three and a half years ago, we in @JewishLabour warned the Greens about welcoming ppl expelled from Labour for antisemitism with open arms.
Did they listen? We didn't even get a reply.
Today's vote, whilst terrible for our politics, was sadly predictable

Our letter to the @TheGreenParty. The Greens must avoid the temptation of becoming a refuge for those thrown out of Labour for antisemitism.
