A-Rod: “It’s tough. Look, they [the Rays] beat them [the Yankees] like a drum. They beat them in spring training, they beat them in during the season and they swept them in October. Something has to change. I’m not talking about personnel. But I’m talking about a philosophy… you’ve won 27 titles one way and I’m not saying anyone should lose their job, make that clear, but Cashman has to surround himself with people that know baseball, that understand baseball, that can value both sides of the ball. It’s unthinkable in a game when your season's on the line, and of the nine positions you don’t know who’s gonna play five positions. First base, second base, third base, center field, and right field because Judge is out. And if something doesn’t change they’re gonna have the same results. We’ve been watching the same movie for over a decade and nothing changes. We’ve used their excuse that Judge wasn’t there. But Judge had nothing to do with that first inning in Game 2 [2026 ALDS], ... which is one of the craziest innings I've ever seen.”

I'm voting YES on Amendment 3. 🏠 Floridians deserve to keep more of their hard-earned money. The scare tactics about cutting police and fire are fake news. Amendment 3 lists public safety as a core service that property taxes must go to. Protect homeowners. Vote YES on 3! 🇺🇸
They should all boycott OTD. Somehow, the message has to get to the FO. Unfortunately, the fans will still fill YS up every game.

Desantis is giving us a HUGE parting gift. One of the best governors of all time. Need people to get the true facts and Vote YES for Amendment 3….
PRESSING FOR PASSAGE: DeSantis makes the case for Amendment 3 as early voting continues and Election Day is just 8 days away.
@GovRonDeSantis: "There is no new tax. No tax increase. It’s purely more constitutional protection for your homestead."
Remaining revenue locked for police, fire, and water only. Needs 60% to pass.

Jorge Posada was among the most honest players I have covered. Nothing has changed in retirement.
After his 17 seasons in the Bronx, Jorge Posada doesn't feel welcomed.

Seeing Mariano Rivera, Derek Jeter, and Alex Rodriguez together again before Game 3 of the World Series brought back some good memories.
What caught my attention wasn't just the funny stories about their early Yankees days. It was hearing A-Rod explain how Rivera held guys accountable in that clubhouse.
Mo didn't care how much money you made or how talented you were. He expected you to show up, produce, and help the Yankees win championships.
That's the mentality I grew up watching. Those guys understood what wearing the pinstripes meant.
But I also want Yankees fans to pay attention to why Rivera was there.
He's trying to help families in his native Panama who lost their homes following the devastating earthquake. Some of these people spent their entire lives building what they had, only to lose everything in seconds.

Yes, Florida. Lets get it done
The debate over Amendment 3 sounds awfully familiar.
Remember when Florida expanded school choice? We heard all about the financial consequences, budget shortfalls, and how public schools would suffer.
Now we’re hearing the same arguments about cutting property taxes. What about local government revenue? How will they survive with less money?
Here’s a thought. Maybe government should figure out how to operate with less money instead of expecting taxpayers to keep handing over more.
I’m not saying there aren’t legitimate financial considerations. But since when is protecting government revenue more important than protecting the people paying the bills?
Government exists to serve taxpayers. Not the other way around.
Vote Yes on Amendment 3.

.@CarlHigbie are you SERIOUSLY concerned about TEACHERS, salaries going up?? They are the most grossly underpaid, unappreciated workers in the country. Your higher salary, higher taxes, lower quality of education comparison is whacked. You dont like it when people dont respect your service, layoff teachers, most work their ASSES off and love and care for their kids. I think I’m watching too much @NEWSMAX #WTAF

It’s because Cashman and his arrogance aren’t capable of handling criticism by people who played the game. Posada tends to call out the BS, similar to Jeter, so Cash and Hal rather have a “yes-man” around like Boone who don’t doubt their “intelligence” like Girardi did.
Would Jorge Posada be interested in joining the Yankees coaching staff?
"I could, but I don't think they want me there...I don't feel welcome when I go there."
