Come on, @lisanandy , let’s have an honest conversation. If Russell Brand, the man convicted of rape, identified as a woman, do you believe he should be allowed to serve his prison sentence in a women’s prison? I’d genuinely like to hear your view.

Bloody well said by Labour peer Lord Glasman.
Parents not buying a troubled teenage girl a breast binder isn’t conversion, it’s deep concern about her health.
Good to see Labour Parliamentarians on the pitch on this

Lord Glasman said “Putting parents at risk of prosecution for trying to protect their children is something no Labour government should even consider.”

Very positive day engaging in conversations with members of the public about the #ConversionPracticesDraftBill
Those who had heard about it were against it, others were happy to discuss the harms and many took our leaflets to find out more.

🚨 Calling all TERFs: we CAN make a difference tackling a business, org or charity one at a time that's AVOIDING the law!
Excited to say my persistent challenging of The Bridge Women's Charity's women-only gym, in Southwark, means it'll now be MEN-free.
This is their new guidance (left image) & part of the CEO's email to me. (Note her pronouns 🤪)
ps amusing that in previous emails she used my title & spelt my name correctly (far right image). BUT when she had to concede defeat she misspells my name & doesn't use my title 😀)
🚨UPDATE on my wrangling with The Bridge Charity "Women's" Gym.
The @ChtyCommission FINALLY replied to my complaint about them admitting MEN. Screenshots ⬇️
They're to inform The Bridge of their duty to ONLY include women.
As The Bridge website still includes those who "ID as women" I've emailed The Bridge again. I won't let this drop!
Now The Bridge has replied to my email about @ChtyCommission (screenshot). Note the pronouns 🤪

AI isn’t just affecting jobs. The enormous computer centres behind it need huge amounts of electricity to run & water to keep them cool. Who pays for the extra resources & infrastructure? Will ordinary households end up footing the bill while big technology Co reap the rewards?
Who else does Labour intend to ostracise? Parents, teachers psychiatrist or anyone who dares to question or disagree? Since when did honest conversations risk becoming a criminal matter? Welcome to bonkers Britain!

One to watch in #Camden.
How this venue, Violets, describes and markets itself going forward will be interesting.

The HYPOCRISY from @mrjamesob is staggering.
He claims that “any man can be a rapist”, yet when @ThePosieParker explained to him why women have a right to single-sex spaces, he attempted a public execution live on air!

The Conversion Practices Bill will bring back ‘no debate’. There can be no debate if ‘affirmation without exception’ is on the table.

The PLS committee on the conversion bill must hear from detransitioners.
You cannot say the bill "symmetrically" protects people and then ignore detransitioners caused by many to believe they have an identity.
That is apparently directly within the scope of the bill.
We have now formally written to the Chair and Members of the Conversion Practices Select Committee, asking them to include us in discussions on the Bill and its potential impact on detransitioners and organisations like ours.
Detransitioners must not be overlooked or excluded from decisions that directly affect our lives. Our voices, experiences and perspectives deserve to be heard and represented.
We urge the Committee to recognise the importance of including detransitioner voices and engaging with organisations that support our community.
We will update everyone once we receive a response. In the meantime, please continue to share our message and help raise awareness. The more visible our voices are, the harder they are to ignore.

Judge says there are two competing interests at the Kenwood Ladies Pond (between trans identifying men who want affirmation and women who want privacy and dignity).
City of London's barrister says they don't accept that. It's "win-win" to allow fully intact males to be in spaces where women and girls are undressing because their presence is "positively beneficial for most via women".
