There is no such thing as Judeo-Christian values. It’s a political farse pushed by communist Zionists.

Interesting take, I learned two days ago that this account was sold over a year ago and it’s now being run by Indians.

You’re acting like no explicit phone ban in 91/135 is a mic drop. It’s not.
135.100 addresses distractions in critical phases. 91.13 (careless operation), ie texting minutes prior to flying into a thunderstorm, covers the rest. The FAA doesn’t need the word “phone” in the reg when a pilot’s scrolling while dealing with weather. PIC is still on the hook under 91.3. The outcome of the flight in question speaks for itself. No one can argue that texting minutes prior to penetrating a thunderstorm was the safest course of action.
Empty vessels indeed.

Ok genius.
14 CFR § 121.542(d) (for aviation operations) is the primary Federal Aviation Regulation that restricts pilots’ use of personal phones in flight.
It states that during all flight time, no flight crewmember may use (and no PIC may permit the use of) a personal wireless communications device (such as a cell phone) or laptop while at a duty station on the flight deck, unless the use is directly related to aircraft operation, or for emergency, safety-related, or employment-related communications under air carrier procedures approved by the Administrator.

It’s against federal regulation for pilots to have their phones turned on during flight.
