It was on fire man! We knew we were witnessing the next coming! Moesha wrecked a lot of what was great about her sadly. It’s hard being everything to everyone and having a team that wanted to make the world believe you’re perfect instead of human. That was just the 90s way.

Missy was getting honored and she honored thee Janet Jackson!! Y'all need to stop playing when it comes Janet Damita Jo Jackson's impact!!
MindingMyBusiness@Chameleon876Oct 23
When the birds on this app try to diminish Janet’s impact, Missy Elliott reminds us: “She is everything. Timeless music, incredible videos that will outlast any of us. They will be studied Many, many generations will continue to study. Things like Rhythm Nation. The precision!”

*Les Moonves. We really can’t discuss Janet’s commercial decline without acknowledging the damage the post-Super Bowl blacklisting did to her career. And Island Def Jam’s handling of the Discipline era certainly didn’t help. “Rock With U” deserved so much better.

i thought this song was huge af and at least a top 40 hit but whole time it barely made it into bubbling under and has less than 10M streams… JT YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS
