NEW: Witnesses say it sounded like a missile. A $2 million private jet dropped out of the sky and slammed into a mobile home park in Palm Beach County, Florida, and authorities say multiple people are dead. The plane, believed to be a Learjet 60 that took off from Austin, Texas, crashed just before 2 p.m. Sunday in Greenacres, west of West Palm Beach. Flight tracking data shows it was cruising at more than 35,000 feet before it suddenly plunged almost straight down. It clipped a tree, took out power lines, and hit a mobile home, leaving a fireball and a crater in the ground. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue declared a mass casualty incident. No one knows yet how many people were on the plane or if anyone was inside that home. The FAA and NTSB are now investigating what caused it.
