After sharing a racist statement by Rogers, DSA Watch agrees that his statements are racist and desperate, admitting he is “done.” Also, he plans to grift on clip farming Hasan afterwards to keep the cash coming.

The United States once threatened Austria with diplomatic and trade penalties if they didn't cut off all trade with Cuba. Austria only had one export to Cuba, steel ball bearings. They threatened the UK if they went through with a bus sale. That's how petty the US blockade is.
"Cuba is free to trade with any country it wants." The Helms-Burton Act allows the United States to sanction foreign companies that do business with Cuba. European companies have been fined. Shipping companies avoid Cuban ports because American ports will close to them. Banks worldwide refuse Cuba-related transactions because of the risk of U.S. penalties. This is not Cuba being "free to trade." This is the extraterritorial application of American economic power specifically designed to ensure that Cuba’s theoretical freedom to trade does not translate into actual trade. Calling Cuba "free to trade" while operating a sanctions regime explicitly designed to punish third parties for trading with Cuba is a particular kind of audacity. It’s the equivalent of blocking every door in a building, and then, when no one can leave, concluding that the people inside must prefer to stay.

The Air defense systems set up at Trump’s Mar-a-lago disabled a civilian aircraft after it was mistaken as a threat as it was managing an icing issue killing the 9 people on board. This will never be admitted to publicly.

Seeing how he just suspends accounts on X that piss him off, it’s not a stretch to think he turns off Starlink for countries that piss him off. He’s like a toddler with really expensive playthings.
Holy shit Elon suspended the account

Hey Ontario you’re being gaslit. @fordnation and the @OntarioPCParty think that if they spend enough of your money on bullshit commercials telling you how good they are doing you won’t notice how bad they are doing. Ford is the one keeping more of what is yours.
The FAO found a massive pool of excessive cash hidden in Bethlenfalvy's 2023 budget that increased to $22.6B through Stephen Lecce's repugnant $6.3B cut to public education that sparked outrage & Sylvia Jones's ghoulish $21B cut to public health care sector by 2027–2028.

I have NEVER understood why US voting is such a clusterfuck. In the UK, every primary school, or libaray, or "something", becomes a voting place, and no one ever waits more than a few minutes to vote. For the democratic land of the free, they are in the dark ages for their actual voting....
This is a line to vote in Mississippi. I was just on the Ole Miss campus today and a bunch of Republicans told me they’re voting blue this year. They’re fed up. Something to watch!

Recession after recession before you hit 30 is not the sign of a successful capitalist society
I have not known a ‘prosperous’ year in my entire adult life.

BILL BURR SAYS CAPITALISM IS GREAT BUT UNREGULATED CAPITALISM IS THE PROBLEM, BILLIONAIRES ARE TOO BUSY COMPETING TO BECOME TRILLIONAIRES TO CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE THEY EXPLOIT Burr argues that billionaires have become so obsessed with competing for more wealth that they’ve lost sight of the people working beneath them. He says capitalism needs regulation, especially when companies treat ordinary workers heartlessly just to increase profits and build bigger fortunes.

When I say Twitter is a RW Propaganda Machine, here is what I mean... Twitter posts the "News" Headline of "Canadians Question Carney...." Then you scroll down and it's a bunch of RW Influencers shit posting nonsense. This absolutely doesn't represent "Canadians" and absolutely doesn't represent "questioning" in the sense the article suggests. Hilarious. Meanwhile, the guy that owns the app has spent the day spamming attacks and lies about candidates running against MAGA in the midterms.

She’s clearly a disturbed, deranged, dishonest woman (less than 48 hours ago she was swearing to the NYT she was backing Abdul) but the bigger question to ask is: how on earth did the Dem establishment put her forward as their candidate? A complete traitor to their party and now an enabler of Trump? There needs to be a lot of soul-searching among centrist former Stevens supporters. Schumer needs to say something for a start!
I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today.

It's funny to see people keep on saying this, as if we're currently prospering. Everyone's already broke, tired and angry. We aren't losing some luxury by major companies taking hits. The ship is sinking either way, so may as well take some joy in watching them drown with us.
There is legitimately no reason to react positively this lmao. If there is a bubble (seems like there is) and it bursts (seems like it's gonna), that doesn't mean that we are suddenly going to return to a pre-ai world (for good or ill). It just means a recession. That is bad.
