When a man goes overboard, seconds matter.
Offshore wind farms are posing life-threatening risks to mariners, delaying rescues and, in some cases, preventing emergency aircraft from reaching vessels in distress.
These energy companies must be held accountable for the dangers they create and the consequences on people’s lives.

Bank of America debanks conservatives but fails to flag billions in suspicious transactions linked to Chinese money laundering networks?
“It is ironic that an institution called ‘Bank of America’ has apparently been more interested in debanking conservative Americans based on their political ideology than in debanking Chinese account holders through which Communist China may be actively trying to subvert and harm America,” says Free Enterprise Project Executive Director Steve Milloy.
Now facing a $1.2 BILLION penalty, the bank owes shareholders answers.

President Trump continues to apply rhetorical pressure on both Russia and Ukraine to reach an energy ceasefire, despite reports that neither side has actually agreed to one. To explore the energy angle further, @DanProft welcomed Steve Milloy, founder of @JunkScience, former member of President Trump’s EPA transition team, and author of “Scare Pollution: Why and How to Fix the EPA.”

American an European friends,
I’m so ashamed, but you need to see what France has become.
Don’t make the same mistakes we did.
The only peaceful solution is to send them back to their countries of origin they love so much.
We cannot coexist. It will be them, or us.

Great to have @AGSteveMarshall and @JunkScience on today to talk about Suncor v. Boulder, aruged at the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday. The AG was very patient with some technical difficultieswhen he came in at about the 30-minute mark. But it was a good and insightful interview.

Just days after we challenged @Starbucks over potential forced labor in its Chinese solar supply chain, the coffee giant opened its first stores in Xinjiang.
Now our @FreeEntProject is demanding answers — and action.
“Last week we asked Starbucks whether its solar panels could be tainted by forced labor in Xinjiang. Before the week was over, Starbucks went a step further and opened coffee shops in Xinjiang itself,” says FEP Executive Director Steve Milloy.
FEP is calling on Starbucks to close the stores, explain its decision to shareholders and confront the human-rights risks surrounding its China operations.

No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter. Arkansans don’t want their kids going to school in the pitch dark, and I’ll always put Arkansas first.

🔥 The National Center is making an impact — from Wall Street to Capitol Hill.
This month: We’re suing The New York Times. @FreeEntProject is pushing the SEC to protect investors from China supply-chain risks. @AbleAmericans is fighting to make disability supports portable across state lines. And @Project21News' Freedom Fellows took their message straight to Capitol Hill.
Plus, our experts are shaping the debate on socialism, Medicaid, corporate activism, education, energy and more — in print, on the air and across the country.

🇺🇸🇨🇳 As Trump and Xi prepare to meet, warnings about China supply-chain risks are growing.
The pressure is on the SEC to require publicly traded companies to disclose how dependence on China could expose investors to serious supply-chain and national-security risks.
Now, the Coalition for a Prosperous America is backing the Free Enterprise Project’s call for the SEC to address what investors need to know if U.S.-China relations take a sudden turn.
American investors deserve to know where the risks are hiding.

🚨 BREAKING: Shareholders Sue The New York Times
The National Center for Public Policy Research and the Florida Retirement System are suing The New York Times Company for records concerning its editorial oversight and fact-checking practices.
We first started demanding NYT records after it published a controversial Kristof column, "The Silence That Meets the Rape of Palestinians."
“News requires fact-checking. Extraordinary news requires extraordinary fact-checking," says Free Enterprise Project Executive Director Steve Milloy.

“We live in the world the left created—one in which corporations were turned into instruments of political and cultural power," writes Curtis Hill at RealClearMarkets.
"Until those instruments are fully restored to their rightful owners and purpose, the tools of accountability must remain available to those who still believe corporations exist to serve shareholders, not ideological agendas."
The SEC shouldn’t be giving corporations a free pass to pursue ideological agendas with shareholders’ money. Read more: nationalcenter.org/ncppr/202…

AI race is like the climate. We sit here bent out of shape over CO2, while China laughs and pumps most of it into the air. With AI, they will be laughing at us there, too. They teach algebra in 3rd grade, calculus in 5th. We teach transgender studies. With this AI panic here, they're going to control it

Bothered by high gas prices? @JunkScience pitches his solution: reduce biofuel blending requirements. He says, "ethanol is a scam." | @dagenmcdowell
Steve Milloy retweeted
For 3 years I’ve been following the plight of residents living in King Cove, Alaska, a remote town in the Aleutians where people keep dying in plane crashes and medical emergencies because faraway environmentalists and others concerned about the goose population will not let them build a road to an all weather airport located just 18 miles away, in the next town over. They’ve been fighting for 40+ years and have just been stymied again.
It’s a complicated story.
But:
“Underneath all the legalese, the history, and the details is a single ugly question, one that perhaps should never have been asked: How many geese is a human life worth?”

Since the @WhiteHouse is meeting refiners today on pump prices, two easy wins are sitting on @epaleezeldin's desk: reset the biofuel mandate driving a hidden 45 cent gas tax, and grant @4AmericanEnergy's petition to preempt state low-carbon fuel standards. @SecretaryBurgum @SecretaryWright @jarrodagen
Yes, President Trump can lower gas prices all by himself by instructing the EPA administrator to reduce biofuel blending requirements in gasoline. These requirements raise gas prices 45 cents per gallon and accomplish nothing for the environment. It is just a wealth transfer from drivers to the corn- and soybean-oil industrial complex. Burning food for energy is just dumb.
