Public-interest infrastructure on ICP. We track where trust, funding & cloud control fail - and show what verifiable systems could do better.

Joined May 2026
Every day, critical systems ask us to trust someone: the data, the software, the cloud, the funding. We ask three questions: - Who can verify it? - Who can change it? - Who can switch it off? We build on internet-computer:native because those questions deserve provable answers, and infrastructure that can deliver this.

Let's get this straight, #ICP is not actually being marketed poorly right now. Maybe it was in the past, but I don't think that's the case anymore. If $ICP was being marketed poorly, I don't think we would be seeing 99 data centers across 33 countries, the UN and its member countries building with ICP, and the Pakistani government working with the technology. If you can also be honest, you should have noticed that major crypto news media platforms are now covering ICP news almost daily. What most people understand as marketing in the crypto space is price manipulation, artificial hype and coordinated pumping. I don't think any of that is in @dfinity's playbook, bro 🤗. They are focused on building real technology, driving adoption and creating actual utility. So forget about expecting artificial pumps. $ICP will grow organically through real utilities and usage. That's the bigger picture 👌🚀

Plot twist: The Solana founder agrees. In other shocking news, water is wet. The whole point is to distract from the only metric that can't be spun: burn vs. issuance. When that doesn't look good, you don’t fix it, you declare it irrelevant and invent a new category to be winning in.

Alternative: run your backend onchain, where tamperproof code is serverless, and there is no OS to compromise. Prefer this over traditional tech for all the reasons | ICP
Apps can't protect you from OS vulnerabilities. Update your OS immediately.

Many people seem to misquote this, so I thought I'd just ask. @elonmusk, what do you think of Internet Computer Protocol?

Dominic "Internet Computer does _" Masses "He's just shilling. Not true" Paid Crypto Media "IC is very scammy, a rug pull" Masses "What crafty devils!" = social proof weaponized, and brains hijacked at scale by a massive token shilling machine... Truth will still win

You cannot help anyone until you help yourself is logic not wisdom. Helping someone else is the only way to help yourself at times. I think the reason for this is because we are mammals that love to cuddle. Lol

GPT-6 Cyber "available to select Daybreak Red customers" General problem: if a customer can security audit open source software before you, that you develop or rely on, they can become your attacker. Solution: move the world to tamperproof backend code hosted by a network/ICP.
Introducing GPT‑6 Cyber: a major advance in security research that pairs stronger capabilities with better model alignment. The model powered the Linux kernel research we announced yesterday, and security teams at companies like Mozilla, Palo Alto Networks, Calif, and Cisco—alongside our own at OpenAI—are already putting it to work. GPT-6 Cyber is available to select Daybreak Red customers and we are expanding access over time. openai.com/index/introducing…

@dfinity has already demonstrated actual onchain AI inference on $ICP. The current bottleneck is the computing power of existing node hardware. As hardware improves, so will performance and capabilities. Just like the child in your image, who will become more capable as he matures. Meanwhile, NEAR.AI, legally Jasnah Inc., doing business as NEAR AI runs other people's models on rented Intel TDX and NVIDIA GPUs. The "proprietary" stack? Phala's dstack. Opensource, Apache 2.0 licensed, also powering OpenRouter. NEAR AI own private-ml-sdk repository was literally built by Phala. Groundbreaking achievement: docker compose up on a TDX machine. Anyone with a credit card can replicate it right now. What users actually get is a centralized API run by one Web2 company, where the blockchain's job is sending your staking rewards to Jasnah Inc. in exchange for $5/month in compute credits. 🙃

What I’m calling out is the narrative that $NEAR has anything to do with AI. The marketing doesn't survive contact with its own docs. For example: ⚠️The blog says ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini access is "zero visibility to providers" The docs say those models are "proxied to their providers" and "the TEE privacy and verifiability guarantees do not extend to the upstream provider." ⚠️The landing page says "100% requests attested" 15 of 51 models are in TEEs. OpenAI alone has more entries in the "private AI" catalog than NEAR entire TEE fleet. ⚠️"user-owned AI" one private company, one gateway, one billing system. The chain's only job is routing your staking rewards to that company. ⚠️"our stack" Phala dstack, open source, Apache 2.0. their own docs says the SDK was "built by Phala Network." None of this is any kind of Web3 AI. It's an OpenAI API compatible reseller running on Intel/NVIDIA enclaves, with a token stapled to the invoice. Let me ask you straight: does the average crypto user think NEAR built Web3 AI? Because that's who this is for. Not you, you know the difference between an enclave and a blockchain. It's for the holder who bought the "NEAR is the AI chain" story and doesn't realize the chain's entire job is to move staking rewards from their wallet to Jasnah Inc. "only the foundation is allowed to work on products" Sure, thats why Anthropic have own ICP connector and Claude Code works on it directly: Internet Identity login, canister discovery, onchain calls etc.. Nobody's gated behind @caffeineai that's one door, Anthropic connector is another, icp-cli with own agent skills is a third. Now do the same exercise for near.ai. Name one door into it that isn't Jasnah Inc. Gateway? Jasnah. Direct endpoints? Jasnah. Private Chat? Jasnah. The "decentralized" GPU marketplace? Jasnah When real medicine is on the shelf, pointing at the snake oil matters even more. And this one's easy, the docs admit what it is while marketing and social narrative claim the opposite. Same bottle, two labels. Marketing wrote "cure" because marketing can. The docs wrote "snake oil" because the docs have to. Guess which one the holders read.

This is getting ridiculous. If any centralized party needs tamperproof custody technology that cannot be hacked (only requires those in approval chains to do their job) then DFINITY can help.
LATEST: French bank Crédit Mutuel Arkéa confirms it was hacked for $133M+ in crypto, with @zachxbt tracing $108.8M in $USDC withdrawn from @Krakenfx, @cryptocom and @OKX accounts over 21 hours, then converted to $ETH to avoid stablecoin freezes.

UX will continue to improve as moves to prod, but that's not where there hard work is. The real challenge is making the backend backend algos impossible to game, etc. One of the reasons it's the 1st open source order book exchange.

Undoubtedly, a lot of progress has been made; as for those complaining about the UX, perhaps they should look at how much more robust things are under the hood.
A major advance for MULTI/DEX went live. The world's 1st order book exchange that's 100% onchain, open source, has margin, an AMM, offers swaps, has no owner, no backdoors, and is MiCA compliant, just got closer to prod — CEXs might adopt the platform for extra security too 🔥

The heists this year have been shocking, and the money is taken to bad places to fund bad things. It's time to reexamine the tech vs narrative balance. Hopefully, with MULTI/DEX, ICP can demonstrate a better way forward through open source services that run 100% from the network.

Is the market seriously underestimating $ICP? @dominic_w reveals that hundreds of millions of dollars are locked in the Internet Computer's NNS governance system value often overlooked in traditional DeFi TVL comparisons. Is the market missing the bigger picture? @dfinity
